We are here with 7 people. during Christmas been for a week, in the age of 21-73 yrs The location is really beautiful! less suitable for small children, through the proper height. It's a big house, so you do not in your way. The town of Spa you sit within 5 min, with enough supermarkets and shops are ordinary, the everyday behoeften.Het house could use some cleaner! But it is atmospheric. Especially in the summer will linger there are. With the beautiful terrace and outdoor pool! We had a lot of snow, which gave a fairytale atmosphere. The castle (exterior) was very beautiful and exudes class and history. Impressed upon entering and has nice classic style. Then one on the other disappointment. The hobs in the kitchen work for no meter and baking a potato takes at least half an hour. Everywhere it was freezing cold and because of the location and poor insulation, the wind blew through the house enormously. The signal in the rooms was very poor and there was more snow than the picture. The most unpleasant surprise was that "meter readings" were entered. Do not know on what basis. Even after 3 nights (4 days) we went home earlier because of the defects. As a surprise we received another bill for consumption of 260 €! Then to think that below only the radiator has been switched on. Here too the stands were filled in again. This was the policy. Did not feel like arguing and have gone.

We had a wonderful time at Balmoral Castle with the whole family. The view is fantastic and there are lots of space inside and out for everyone to read, play billiards, watching, chatting, doing nothing tv - without having another in the way. And the pool is superb, well protected if you have small children who can not swim, and easily accessible to anderen.Kortom highly recommended for a family holiday in our opinion.

We have enjoyed great with our children and grandchildren of our stay. Although the furniture down old (and somewhat worn), but that suited the atmosphere of the castle. The beds were excellent. Pity not to use a bath was because it took two hours before it was full, but this was our fun in any case not less. We enjoyed! The hostess Sandrine is warm and helpful. The castle is truly beautiful and the location breathtaking. Our children (adolescents) had a great time, the castle itself offers many opportunities to enjoy themselves. The pool table was a success! Lots to do in the area. We would love to come back!

A fairytale setting with luxury and space. Beds are fine, showers and baths are excellent. The massage chair is an experience, the pool table was a nice perk. The fireplaces were burning fine and gave cozy warmth. what a surprise: still no sauna. and everywhere a beautiful uitzicht.De sun on the terrace, in the cold! Something for everyone and despite all the antiques and fine furnishings kid friendly!

Very nice house and the view is priceless. However, comfort in terms of seating is not really present, both inside and outside the furniture needs to be replaced. Almost every day we had uninvited guests who came by, albeit to visit the chateau and other days it was the owner who came to paint or place a new bath. So you do not have much privacy. On arrival, the meter readings were already filled in without showing them to us, on departure the owner had car trouble and could not deal with us. It was agreed that the remaining amount of the deposit (800 euros) would be deposited into our account the same day, this is now 5 days ago and we have not received anything yet. All in all a nice experience but we will not come back here.

Beautiful location, in a breathtaking setting. The swimming pool, terrace and barbecue are wonderful with a view to Lac de Warfaaz. The kitchen and the facilities are somewhat outdated and need replacing. The description is not entirely correct: there is a washing machine on the second floor but no cot. The pool is slightly smaller than described and there are no extra bath towels available. Don't be shocked by the energy bill afterwards ....

The house was wonderfully spacious, both the large living room and all bedrooms. What was also very popular was that each bedroom has its own bathroom, with toilet and shower!
