Chalet Het Hertenbos was a delightful getaway! Nestled in the serene woods of Lanklaar, it provided the perfect backdrop for our family getaway. The cozy interiors made us feel at home, and we enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace while taking in the view of the garden. The proximity to Hoge Kempen National Park was a huge advantage for our hiking adventures. Additionally, being able to bring our dog along made the trip even more special. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

We enjoyed the peace, many opportunities for cycling and walking paths in the area. It is nice to stay "on the mountain." It is wonderfully cool there when it is warm elsewhere. The cottage was great. Equipped with all comforts. The barbecue works very well!! Fam. Paas

Beautifully located in a nice environment and very central for excursions. Of the five beds, one was wonderful to sleep in, the bunk bed was just okay, but the so-called double bed was only 120 cm wide. Fortunately for one of us, the manager now had comforters instead of blankets. One of the holidaymakers is allergic to blankets. We would have liked to know that in advance. The next time we will be alert to this, We also found it a loss that the kitchen did not have a microwave or oven and a kettle. But perhaps we have become very spoiled over all those years. On arrival the house smelled of moisture, but when ventilating the house this was better. Not large, but ok for 2 adults and 1 child. Beautiful region and nice to make miner's house, mines, Zutendaal, forest walks and bike rides.

The house is really in the middle or nowewhere. It is very suitable for tranquility. Nice and small, not a luxury. The things you need, who are on hand. All the necessary presence in the cottage and it's clean. The BBQ is great, logs it's "evening and sit outside. Lovely. Been in the area no other nice places to visit. With center, we are now experiencing, they mean a number of shops and that was it. We have very enjoyed and we are very friendly and well received by the home-owner. PERFEKT.Misschien we rent this again ............
