The house itself has great potential. Beautiful location. Super nice and spacious rooms. However, it is somewhat neglected in terms of maintenance, and that is really a shame. The dining room chairs had (very ugly) covers on them. Under those covers, the seats were completely damaged, and you can feel that through the cover. So it really isn't comfortable. The sofas also have covers on them. Under the covers, the 'leather' is completely worn off, and the sofas sag a lot. Some mattresses are so sagged that we have put several duvets on them to lie somewhat okay. I can already read that back in the reviews from 2022. Such a shame! I would say... Throw some paint on some walls, re-seal the bathrooms, and buy some new nice chairs and sofas, and you really have a top location!

Our stay in the duplex chalet was nothing short of magical. The view of the Ourthe Valley from the terrace was breathtaking, especially during sunset. We also enjoyed visiting local attractions like the Museum of the Battle of the Bulge. Although we had some rainy weather, the sauna provided a perfect escape. Would recommend for a family vacation!

House is on a very busy road, garden is shared with 3 other houses and not fenced. so there were children from the house next to us just behind our terrace playing all the time while we were looking for peace here (without children). The house is in need of a makeover. Especially the terrace, which was literally rotten! We thought we were going to fail here any minute. The barbecue grill had never been cleaned before 😅… The beds were also of very poor quality. You had a nice view over the garden and cool things to do in the area, the town of La Roche was also very cool!

Nice welcome, smooth and business-like, but only French-speaking. Beautiful location at the back with a beautiful view and a lovely terrain with play equipment and a soccer field. Horses, sheep and cows in the surrounding meadows. For a busy main road. Ample parking space. The house is comfortable due to its size and space. Some overdue maintenance, especially the paintwork and stairs. Some loose sockets. The kitchen was also overdue maintenance and the fridge a bit creaky. No freezer compartments and a bit small for a twelve-person house. No teapots and no large frying pan, we knew that from the reviews and we had it ourselves. Because of the many steps not very suitable for very small children. The area is very suitable for walkers.

The state of maintenance is for a part of the house moderate, especially the outside and the balcony are poorly maintained. If you have small children, the balcony is not safe enough. The reception was fine, and the draft too. The congierge does not speak a word of Dutch and English which makes communication difficult. What is annoying is that you can not make noise outside, what with children and what music soon happens. The house is spacious and equipped with all basic equipment. Renovated kitchen and bathroom upstairs. The sleeping areas and bathroom sous sole are outdated and somewhat musty. The sauna worked well! Large shared garden and beautiful (slightly dilapidated) terrace. Much more expensive energy and water price paid than was stated on the contract with bellvilla. Understandable given the price increases, but we would have preferred to have this forwarded in advance... We had a nice holiday!

2nd time we stayed in this house, and we liked it again. Inside there are many things improved (new kitchen, stairs renewed). Good beds, house was clean. Outside the condition is not too good, the terrace still does not feel safe, swings were broken. The lack of WiFi is not insurmountable, but it is actually outdated. The person who received us spoke good English this time. I think we will rent this house again in a few years, partly because of the good price-quality ratio

House is on a very busy road, garden is shared with 3 other houses and not fenced. so there were children from the house next to us just behind our terrace playing all the time while we were looking for peace here (without children). The house is in need of a makeover. Especially the terrace, which was literally rotten! We thought we were going to fail here any minute. The barbecue grill had never been cleaned before 😅… The beds were also of very poor quality. You had a nice view over the garden and cool things to do in the area, the town of La Roche was also very cool!

Very warm welcome from the owner and the porter. Two friendly people who were able to give us advice on the region. They said they were available but we did not have to call them. The cottage is prettier than in the photo because it was recently renovated. The garden is large, the view is beautiful.

Nice welcome, smooth and business-like, but only French-speaking. Beautiful location at the back with a beautiful view and a lovely terrain with play equipment and a soccer field. Horses, sheep and cows in the surrounding meadows. For a busy main road. Ample parking space. The house is comfortable due to its size and space. Some overdue maintenance, especially the paintwork and stairs. Some loose sockets. The kitchen was also overdue maintenance and the fridge a bit creaky. No freezer compartments and a bit small for a twelve-person house. No teapots and no large frying pan, we knew that from the reviews and we had it ourselves. Because of the many steps not very suitable for very small children. The area is very suitable for walkers.
