It is a cozy cottage with sleeping accommodation for 8 to 9 people, in the magnificent setting of the castle of Barvaux-Condroz. The facilities are good, although someone had to come in to make the router for the WIFI function again. The kitchen is well-equipped. The fireplace certainly offers added value in terms of cosiness. A place we would like to return to to go for a week's walk in the beautiful nature of the Condroz.

Both castle lady and lord and their son are very pleasant people who make you feel welcome. We have been able to fully enjoy the privacy, the beautiful, peaceful surroundings and the animals on the domain. You don't even have to leave the large domain to take a nice walk. We were also allowed to use all facilities such as the boats on the 2 ponds and the swimming pool and tennis court. We stayed there for a midweek period and made daily use of the well-maintained hard court tennis court. They can expect us back!

That was not closed, so that other dogs came to do their need for our door. Upon arrival there was also dog droppings on the lawn just in front of the house. The inner courtyard was also riddled with dog holes. For the rest it was fairly clean, although this could also be better. I give this apartment a 6 out of 10.

The holiday home was in Barvaux-Condroz. From 16.00 hours we could use the departure, we were there at 15.45. Yet we were warmly welcomed by the hostess. (at home everything is better). The coffee machine in the kitchen had already fired 1 cup after three quarters of an hour, the necessary twilight lamps in the bedrooms did not work. The surroundings and the domain are breathtakingly beautiful. The holiday home could be ideal - but it is ideal - but there is a need to complete a makeover, without affecting the Ardenian character. The ground floor did not get clean, on the contrary, The kitchen was sticky, so not really appetizing. The upper floors were still alive. Throughout the house were both lamps, cranes, pots and pans with ears down and especially in the entrance was a grubby old floor mat. Very friendly eigenaars.De house is located very quiet (mss because the house was not rented next to us). Beautiful property to start walking. The WIFI is very weak because of the thick walls. The interior is a bit older, we luckily good weather and have always linger outside. With bad weather can you possibly get bored quickly. We were 2 couples and had plenty of comfort.
