Elegant Castle Stay, Havelange

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

This castle is an ideal base for exploring the Ardennes, We visited Durbuy and Modave Castle, both of which were just a short drive away, The facilities were great, and having bicycle storage was a plus for our cycling adventures,

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

This place is perfect for families! The kids had a blast playing by the pond and in the garden, The washing room was handy for keeping our clothes clean after our outdoor adventures, We had a great time!

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

The property was beautiful, with a nice garden and plenty of space for outdoor activities. The children enjoyed the table tennis, and we appreciated the high chair for our little one. A comfortable stay all in all.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

The outdoor area is really beautiful and well-maintained, unfortunately, the house did not benefit much from it. It was very dirty. We had to descale the coffee machine ourselves, the washing machine was unfortunately also broken, a new one only came after our stay. And the knob on the upper bathroom door always came off. In general, everything was very dusty and dirty. It's a shame because the outdoor area was really very nice.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

A unique experience staying in a castle! The decor was charming, and the large bedrooms provided plenty of space for our group, We enjoyed the views from the terrace and made great use of the coffee machine each morning,

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

We were warmly welcomed to a fantastically beautiful estate. It was a great weekend with our kiddies and their sweethearts. The tennis court and the little boat in the pond were a bonus in the beautiful surroundings. A real recommendation!

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

The castle is located in a beautiful setting with lakes and a forest all around. It was a peaceful retreat for our group. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we appreciated having a washing machine and a dryer during our stay.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

We really enjoyed our stay in this castle, It was spacious and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable vacation, The location was peaceful, and we loved the proximity to nature, A great place to relax,

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

A nice place, spacious and with all facilities. Friendly landlords who can guide you. Nice that you can roam the entire estate and there are beautiful walks to be found nearby. The only downside is that everything is a bit dated and in one double bed there are only single beds in the rooms. Also, a rod to hang the showerhead in the second bathroom would be an improvement.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Unique location. The gîte is located in the renovated stables of the castle. Very simple in terms of decor and available household items, but a beautiful setting. Both the count and countess who still live in the castle are very charming and down-to-earth people. If you are looking for luxury and comfort, it's best to go elsewhere, but those who love charm can find it here.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Beautiful surroundings, great beds, and lovely people. For people with a slightly less easy body (read: rheumatism, fuller body), showering was a challenge. The shower on the first floor was very small and the shower door opening was the same. The bath upstairs was narrow and without a shower curtain, so showering was always one big water fun. The kitchen was also somewhat outdated, but functional. Bringing our own bed linen was one of our smartest decisions, as renting cost 8 euros per person per night. Nice spaces, comfortable sofas and chairs, we also watched TV although we brought our own Chromecast. The stove was also very cozy, we just missed an axe or something to make the wood smaller for kindling. With 10 people, it was a bit cramped in the living room, especially in terms of seating space. There were 2 bedrooms with 3 beds, 1 room with 1 single bed, and 2 rooms with double beds. We had a great time with 6 of us! The wifi usually worked well enough, but occasionally had some delays/poor connection. It is nicely located, within 20 minutes to shops etc. (by car). Wonderful for walking, being outside, and enjoying nature.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Very fine location, beautifully situated on a nice estate.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Vibe-Check: This castle is a whole mood, Perfect for families or a trip with friends, The private terrace + BBQ setup is different for summer nights, Total aesthetic goals

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

We stayed here with our children and had a great time! The place is huge and super comfortable. We loved the BBQ on the terrace in the evening. Just a short drive to Durbuy for a few nice meals. The lakes nearby are also perfect for a little walk. Remember to bring your own bedding; that surprised us, but no problem. Overall, a great place for quality time with the family!

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

We loved the quiet surroundings and the beautiful views from the private terrace, ideal for a relaxing weekend, although we missed more dining options nearby.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Spacious and comfortable house, perfect for our group of ten, Having a washing machine and dryer was a lifesaver! Just remember to bring your own bed linen

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

The castle grounds were stunning, with two lovely lakes and beautiful forest trails, We enjoyed our morning walks and the peaceful atmosphere, Highly recommend for nature lovers!

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Spacious castle with a lovely garden, Perfect for family gatherings!

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

A wonderful escape from the city, The estate is beautiful, and we enjoyed the nearby hiking trails, At first, it was a bit hard to find, but it’s worth it!

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Charming stay in a unique setting, The interior had a cozy atmosphere, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our group, Ideal location for exploring nearby Durbuy.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

We had a pleasant stay in this holiday home, the castle was charming, and the amenities were sufficient for our group, the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and we made good use of the washer and dryer, although the decor could use a bit of updating, it was clean and comfortable, the check-in process was straightforward, and the area offered beautiful walks by the lake, overall, a solid choice for a family getaway.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

The castle has a lot of character and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. Everything was within reach and we had a pleasant stay overall.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Engineer I can't say, this castle is a gem, Easy access to nearby towns and scenic beauty, Just wish I could have stayed longer, The indoor heating was also a lifesaver

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Spacious castle with a beautiful garden - perfect for family gatherings. The barbecue facilities were a great addition for evening meals.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

The surroundings are great. The owners are very friendly. However, the accommodation inside the stay itself is quite outdated. Especially basic items were very worn. For example, drinking glasses, bags, plates are a collection of many different things that really should not be used anymore. There were not enough glasses.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

This location developer in a beautiful environment (with castle in the background) is a gem!
The owners warmly welcome you and make you feel at home.
I can highly recommend a stay here.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Very good, nice setting. We will come back

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

With the group of friends a weekend here sat Super. Enjoyed the castle and the facilities, tennis court, boat boating. Nice walking during the day, and then a glass of wine by the fireplace in the evening.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

The accommodation was fine, the area beautiful for walking.

Nice surroundings and friendly welcome and a good spacious accommodation

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

It is a very nice location with its own pond and boat. Lots of space and very authentic. All of us had a small problem with the electricity. Each time, the stops jumped when cooked and dried at the same time.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Beautiful setting, all you needed was there. Tennis court, swimming pool, lake and boat.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Very special accommodation at chateau on a fantastic estate. Located in a small village with no more than a church.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Unique accommodation in a beautiful, green area

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

A friendly welcome by the lady who spoke Dutch. The house was fine, beds and bathrooms were good. The setting is lovely. From home you can equalize walks, long or short. We have cozy, had fine days.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

Beautiful area where the castle stood a real drive! We were warmly welcomed by the owner who gave an excellent tour of all the rooms. These were all neat and clean. Also, the beds and covers! There are plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling. Durbuy is nearby. The house is fully equipped and perfect for a large group. Kitchen fine. One nice walking around the grounds, nice rowing on the lake or a game of tennis can do it all. We come back!!

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

You're not the only user of the property, you share the bbq, firewood and garden. You can not go sooner, owner speaks only French. Housekeeper smoking in the house, locking you have to pay to contact but you get only weeks later by bank return. Furniture needs to be replaced. Beds are okay. Super nice property and environment.
