The house itself is large and the location is great. Both nice to start walks but also within walking distance of the bakery, butcher, etc. Unfortunately, the house was very dusty and damp. There was a lot of dust in the bedrooms and also in the mattress. Kitchen and bathroom are in order and certainly meet. The house was so dusty that unfortunately several people had an allergy attack and the stay was less pleasant.

This is a stone's throw from the picturesque center and with a view of the feudal castle of Roche-en-Ardenne! Also numerous walks in the area and in the center chip shop, Chinese, pizzeria, Spar, bakers, butchers, ... The disadvantage was the very small refrigerator (table model) for 10 guests! We were there with 1 small family and the refrigerator was too small ... Everything else available, good mattresses and duvets (note: only duvets for 1 person, also with the 2-person beds: so bring correct covers!), Cozy and good to heat. Also very friendly contact with owner. You could enter with code and there was nothing more to settle with the owner personally, so wonderfully carefree !!

A beautiful, atmospheric and authentic house! We stayed here over Christmas with our family of eight. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds are good, the kitchen is well equipped and fully equipped. The location of the house is nice, you have a beautiful view of the ruins and you can walk into the beautiful village (restaurants, nice shops, bakery, butcher, supermarket). House was exactly as described. Beds were, as usual in Wallonia, a little too small, they were perfect. The kitchen has a kettle and filter coffee. Everything else you expect. Nice spacious house for a family with 5 people. Just 200m from the center and nice view of the village. Great base for enjoying the Ardennes. We sat there in the autumn holiday, mid October. Was really at the end of the season. Many restaurants were already closed but still open enough. The house was clean but smelled very musty. Therefore, it was necessary to have the windows open frequently. The PIN to open the door is very convenient, you will receive it in advance.

The house itself is large and the location is great. Both nice to start walks but also within walking distance of the bakery, butcher, etc. Unfortunately, the house was very dusty and damp. There was a lot of dust in the bedrooms and also in the mattress. Kitchen and bathroom are in order and certainly meet. The house was so dusty that unfortunately several people had an allergy attack and the stay was less pleasant.

A beautiful, atmospheric and authentic house! We stayed here over Christmas with our family of eight. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds are good, the kitchen is well equipped and fully equipped. The location of the house is nice, you have a beautiful view of the ruins and you can walk into the beautiful village (restaurants, nice shops, bakery, butcher, supermarket). There is plenty to do in the area (including war museums and hiking). The email contact with the landlord went well. He is very friendly and will answer all your questions. We had a great week!

We were with a family with 3 teenagers. And grandfather and grandmother were with us. For Grandma, the high location of the house was a bit tricky, but we knew that beforehand. Great big house on the edge of La Roche. 2 large sofas in the living room. Spacious shower. Lots of kitchen utensils in the kitchen. Hob was ff figuring out how to turn it on, but that worked out in the end. Nice view of La Roche with its castle ruins. Good base for the many walks that start in La Roche.

The weather was disappointing (snow and cold) so we spent much time in the house. The house is our really liked, heating and wifi spent outcome during the bad weather. It is very spacious and the location is fantastic. You have a beautiful view and the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Well you need a flight of stairs to get to the front door, so it is less suitable for people who have difficulty walking. There are plenty of outdoor sports (water sports, hiking, biking, etc.) in the immediate vicinity. We have not seen or spoken to the owner but were previously an email with a door code. The house rules and information pack for us were very clear and we liked that we did not have to wait for someone upon arrival and departure.

beautiful old house. refurbished but very messy. Kitchen very complete, everything is available. Bedrooms nice but the double beds very small (1.30 or 1.40) Only two bedrooms have two single beds. In the master bedroom 2 single beds alongside each other, more was not possible. Rain but also had very nice weather. Enjoyed La Roche and surroundings. Very nice that the geellige center is within walking distance.

Great holiday address, really enjoyed the area and view. Remarks: Fridge is too small, even for the 4 of us. The beds are on the short side, clamp from crown to feet. Parking is difficult in high season.
