Lovely house, large garden. Too bad you hear so much traffic. Excellent beds, were neatly made for, in our case, 4 people. But it would be nice if there were also bedding in the other rooms, so that you have a choice where you sleep. Nice, helpful owner!

A large holiday home with enough space for eight people. The four bedrooms were nicely furnished, and the two bathrooms met our needs. The outdoor sauna is a must. The downsides are that the kitchen could use a makeover.

The house and the property are very beautiful in themselves. The area is completely fenced and suitable for dogs.
It was nice that we were able to get fresh eggs every day from the chickens that lived on the property.
It was very quiet and rural all around, perfect for walking dogs and relaxing.
The house was very dirty when we arrived. There were loads of dead insects stuck to the walls, windows and ceiling. There were spider webs in every corner of the house and the general appearance was very unclean. We had to thoroughly clean the sauna before using it and, among other things, remove the remains of dead mice. Apparently the house was not cleaned before our arrival. We also had to pay an additional €50 deposit for waste separation, which we had no information about, although they asked about other costs after booking. Contacting the landlord was rather difficult as he often didn't respond for a long time. The key handover upon departure did not take place at all. The key should be placed on a windowsill. No viewing before departure. We left the house much cleaner than we found it. We also had to clean the bathrooms ourselves before using them, as the shower on the ground floor was very dirty and there were clumps of hair in the bathtub on the upper floor. It was clear that the dirt in the house had built up over a long period of time, even though a flat rate of €90 was paid for the final cleaning. This hasn't happened here for a long time! All in all, it's a shame because this property/property has much more potential. So unfortunately no recommendation.

The two of us had a great stay in villa Frontzate. The house is well equipped and the kitchen is very well equipped, with appliances such as cutlery, glasses, plates, etc. A smaller frying pan would be practical if you are not staying with 8 people but less. The bed in the main bedroom is very good. Walking in the immediate vicinity is not really interesting, but if you take the car just about any type of walk can be reached within a short time (beach, polder, Veurne, Diksmuide ...). After a (rainy) walk it is pleasant in the living room sitting on the wonderful soapstone stove. A must!

The house was great. Fine spacious, practically laid out and fully equipped. Nice that there was everything available for the children. The huge garden was great especially for our two dogs. The wifi was poor, but in the living room it went bad in the rest of the house and garden. The area was very quiet and not much to do in itself. But we didn't find that a problem. The sea is close by, Diksmuide was a nice town and in Bruges there was a nice subtropical swimming pool.

The accommodation 1 room with enough closets, the other rooms had no closets so everything had to be on the floor, a few cabinets in the hallway and 1 person dropped through his bed. Very nice property, was like the picture. And all you need on a holiday was present in the house. We were there with Christmas. And the owner had a Christmas tree set aside for us. And slightly hung in the garden. was even a mega bottle of bubbly and a zakchips ready in the kitchen. Owner also said that he was always calling to ask if there was anything. You do need a car to get anywhere. But we knew that in advance.

We had a very nice week in Dixmuide. With the (grand) children we enjoyed this beautiful house, spacious rooms, furnishings, everything is fine. Because the weather was beautiful we also could spend a lot of time in the large garden at the house. For the children there was a large trampoline, go-karts and bicycles to enjoy themselves. That the owner surprised us with bubbles on arrival and that the grandchildren brought us a fresh egg from the chicken coop in the morning gave us the perfect holiday feeling. From this beautiful house we made several trips, De Panne, Lille and Dixmuide itself is also a nice place, this location is definitely recommended.

We had booked this holiday for the 2nd time because the first time was very pleased. The accommodation meets the description well. There was a new trampoline for the children. A beautiful detached holiday home. You have no immediate neighbors so lots of privacy. The very large garden is completely fenced, so very nice with small children or dogs. The house is fully equipped including a nice large kitchen with all amenities. There are games and books for the children. In the area there is plenty to do. As a tip for people with children, I would like to take out a subscription on plopsaland. You have it already after 2 times out and it is a super nice park just over 15 minutes drive. The breakdown is also a nice place on the coast.
