We were 3 families (6 adults, 5 children) in the cottage and we were very satisfied. The cottage was equipped with all the necessary things (oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, 2 fridges, washing machine...). Each family has one of the three bathrooms occupied, so you didn't get in each other's way. The dining table was big enough for us and in my opinion at least 2 more people could have been comfortably seated. In the kitchen, too, cooking with a third person was easy, as it is very spacious thanks to the second dining table. The house has three exits, so each family could take a key and we were independent of each other on excursions. The journey is winding and the last km are on a gravel road. Personally, I found the road absolutely okay for a normal station wagon, and even in drizzle it was very easy to drive on. The landlord was always super available and totally helpful! Thanks for that!

Wonderful week in East Carinthia We spent a week in this house in September. Despite the fact that it is a large house, we did not feel lost at all. We spent most of our time in the kitchen, near the wood-burning stove which also served as the primary heat source for the kitchen itself and the adjoining rooms. But lighting a fire is quite fun . Despite the fact that the house is old, it is nicely finished and fully equipped. Despite the remote location, there was still pretty good internet (playing YouTube videos was no problem). The cottage itself is at the end of an unpaved mountain road. Quite steep, but doable, even without a 4x4. No lack of privacy, the first neighbors are miles away. The supermarket is also not around the corner, count on 20 minutes by car. (On Sundays, by the way, not a single supermarket is open!) You can also sit in the sun on the balcony / veranda, although you have to be there on time, because from an hour or two the sun disappears behind the mountains. Oh yes, a lot of wasps, although they seemed less interested in sweets than the average Dutch lemonade wasp. Finally, the owners (who lived on the other side of the village) were very nice. We will definitely come back here again.

The "Brentlhütte" holiday home is unique. The location is just a dream, far and wide only nature and silence. The owners plus staff also all very friendly and nice. We had a wonderful joyful vacation in the group (8 people). The fireplace is super cozy, inside the living room is heated with wood. The rooms were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We would like to come again :-)

Very quiet location, friendly welcome. If you want a break in the middle of nature and tranquility. Prime location. Landlords are farmers from a village further and regularly come by to ask if you need something or they can do something. They even brought a homemade sandbox for our children. Every evening cozy around a campfire where you could also barbecue upstairs. Wood available without obligation, Perfect house for those who want to spend their holidays in peace and nature. The cows that can roam freely on the mountain and that come to greet you at the fence of the garden you have to take it there. Hut itself is no longer the youngest but this also has its charms and all standard comfort is certainly present.

Directions worked great. We were picked up by the landlord at the agreed meeting point and accompanied to the accommodation. We were 12 people and had enough space with a nice outdoor seating area. Pure nature. Pure relaxation. Everything we wanted.

We were skiing for 8 people for the second time in this house. Very nice landlord2. The house is very idyllic in the middle of nature. Even in the day you do not even hear a car, etc.3. The house is relatively simple, but equipped with everything you need. 4. Very spacious for 8 people. 5. If you are looking for an original accommodation that does not mind heating with wood, then this is the place for you. 6. There are only very few such relaxing places like this one. The only thing to remember is that you can go skiing to the Koralpe or to the Weinebene each about 25 km. In winter, you should arrive with a four-wheel drive vehicle. Will certainly come back again!

The house was good, but the access road to the house was three kilometers of dirt road. This means necessary in winter snow chains upwards and downwards. When thaw this is a slushy and slippery affair upwards and downwards through a 4X4 is not a luxury. Also, it is not easy to find, we have been brought by friendly and helpful Austrians to the house. I also need to use the OAMV (Roadside in Austria) I need to talk by phone to the address because he could not find it. Also this car OAMV struggled to come up.

What a great holiday. It's almost impossible to express in words.
The peace, accommodation, nature and friendly owners. All 8 of us plus our dog enjoyed our stay. In a word, great!

We spent a week in the Poinsitt family's Brentlhütte in Wölling. The reception was very friendly and relaxed. A great robust mountain cabin in the forest. Ideal for children to play. There were a few cows around the hut that came by every day to look.



The landlords are very friendly.



The area is ideal for families (hiking, swimming) and playing in the forest.

Nice, spacious and clean house with three bathrooms and IR sauna. House is secluded in a beautiful area where you can walk a lot. Two fun and affordable ski areas are a 30-40 minute drive away. The owners are very friendly people who take you to the house because it is difficult to find for the first time. The house has a wood-fired central heating system that works fine, but needs some attention. The pallet heater is fully automatic and needs to be refilled every two days. You only heat the open tiled stove in the living room when you are going to use it. Wood and pallet sticks are included in the price, as well as electricity. In winter the road can be icy and snow chains are necessary.
