Simply fantastic!

The Wittmann family's vacation home is a dream! It is located in a quiet residential area right on Lake Trammer, has a large, beautiful garden and a pier at the lake's access. On the ground floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a living room with a fireplace and television. In front of it is a large covered balcony with a view of the garden and the lake. On the first floor, there is a shower room and two lovingly furnished bedrooms. Everything is very spacious, expansive, well-kept, and tidy! There is also WiFi, and it works well.

It takes about 20 minutes by foot to get to Plön where there are shopping opportunities, restaurants, and cafes. In the surrounding area, there are many places worth seeing, such as Malente, Eutin, Preetz, and Lütjenburg. The Baltic Sea and Kiel are also just a stone's throw away.

The landlords, who were present during our stay, are the epitome of kindness. They are friendly, helpful, and super nice.

My dog and I felt so comfortable there that we have already booked for 2024.

Therefore, I wholeheartedly give 5 stars in every category.

Top location, unfortunately very dirty.

The apartment has a great location, is affordable, and the landlords are very nice but... upon our arrival, the cleaning lady was sick. I had to clean myself, and I still haven't received the money back. The entire accommodation is very dusty, the carpet in the living room is full of stains, the lower rooms are very worn out, the vacuum cleaner is falling apart, the blind is broken, bedspreads are stained. Cutlery and plates (a total of 4 deep and 4 flat ones) are way too few. The blinds in the kitchen are simply disgusting. The toilet is a nightmare. The dirt didn't come from not cleaning once! But for €20, you can't ask for much, especially for two floors. Then the sofa underneath me also collapsed, and now our liability insurance should pay for it. Who would have thought that you can't sit on a three-seater! I even hurt myself. I can only say, once and never again.

Additional note

It should be added to the landlord's instructions that a Corona vaccination certificate is mandatory to rent this house.
Due to this fact, our upcoming holiday this summer was cancelled.

Top apartment

In 2020 I was already the second time in the vacation apartment and this year 2021 we're going there again. The contact with Mrs. and Mr. Wittmann is great. Very friendly and everything runs without any problems.
The accommodation is perfect for relaxing from everyday life.

There are plenty of shops nearby for shopping.

There is a lot to see and experience in the surrounding area.

If you want to go to the beach once or twice, you have to plan a travel time of about 30 minutes (+-).

Relaxing, romantic, and a good location for excursions.

We (couple, 66-f/75-m) were looking for a centrally located holiday apartment for trips to Lübeck, Eckernförde, Kiel, and Holsteinische Schweiz. Plön seemed ideal for this and we were not disappointed. The house offers everything one could wish for: absolutely perfect equipment in the kitchen, bathroom, living and sleeping areas, very cozy furnished, plus a large terrace with a beautiful view of a romantic, natural garden and the lake, where we could swim. We did not use the rowing boat, pedal boat, or the grill. The hosts were very kind and helpful from the beginning. For seniors who are not as mobile, the distance to the charming town of Plön might be a bit long (20 minutes for us), but there are plenty of parking spots in town. We enjoyed the holiday, especially breakfast and dinner on the terrace! And the value for money is unbeatable!

Dear Sir or Madam,

We rented the holiday home in Feb. 2017. Based on the pictures, I was somewhat skeptical about the equipment when booking. However, I was proven wrong on site. The house has a cozy fireplace, a huge garden, and a dock! Highly recommended.

In the summer, the house is certainly even more beautiful as it adjoins a huge lake! If you are looking for a budget-friendly and truly good accommodation, this is the RIGHT place for you. The landlords were super nice. No communication difficulties, everything went smoothly! Excellent!

Paradise by the lake

It was a wonderful 14 days in a beautifully located house with a garden and jetty right on the lake. Even with pedal boat usage. Our dog also felt very comfortable. For us, it was like paradise. We visited Kiel, Laboe with the submarine, Hohwacht on the beach, and enjoyed sunny weather the whole time. We cycled many kilometers around Lake Plön to Preetz and to Wittmold to the Bülow estate on the small Lake Plön where my father-in-law and his father come from. It was a gift for the 60th birthday. Birthday of my husband who spent the entire summer vacation there as a child. It was supposed to be a farewell, but we will definitely come back.

In good weather, truly an idyllic place with a dreamy garden and lake access, and plenty of seating options. Beautiful view from the balcony and also from the upper rooms. Lake view from the bed!! Many beautiful hiking trails around the surrounding lakes and forest areas. The rooms are well-equipped and there is absolutely nothing missing in the kitchen! I would love to come back in the summer!

Just switch off!

Very good value for money! The landlords are very nice and the view of the lake is really beautiful. There are many excursions and interesting destinations in the village. The boat trips offered in Plön are worth the money!

free time activities: Sehr viel Auswahl für alle Generationen !

shopping facilities: In der Nähe gibt es viele Supermärkte. Die Fussgängerzone bietet schon fast ein Überangebot an Bäckereien.

shopping facilities: Nach Kiel nur ein Katzensprung... Plöner Innenstadt zu Fuss gut zu erreichen.
