Perfectly located in the heart of Salzburgerland and directly on the main access roads to the well-known towns of Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Zell am See, this well-kept and cosy holiday flat is on the first floor.
There are four bedrooms available, each with its own bathroom including shower and washbasin. Some of the bedrooms have access to a spacious, sunny balcony from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and vast meadows. Also on the first floor is the living room with open-plan kitchen, fully equipped with modern appliances. On the ground floor there is a spacious "Stube", which you can possibly use (together with other guests) as a dining room. This "Stube" may be used until 21:00.
Maishofen is an ideal starting point for your winter holiday, as you can reach the well-known destinations of Saalbach-Hinterglemm or Zell am See in just a few minutes. If you prefer to take the ski bus, it stops practically right in front of the house in both directions. You can go cross-country skiing, hiking or sledging in the immediate vicinity. In the neighbouring hotel you have the option of booking half-board at favourable conditions on site.

A nice place, just outside the town Maishofen. Close to two ski areas (Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Zell am See). The house is somewhat dated. But it really has that old-fashioned cozy Austrian atmosphere. The kitchen is fine. Necessary equipment such as dishwasher, microwave, oven are available. The space in the kitchen is limited: the table and chairs, the refrigerator, the kitchen utensils (cutlery, plates, mugs, etc.) are not designed for 9 people. The rooms are good and spacious. The beds moderate. 1 room has a box spring. That bed is fine. Very handy that each bedroom has its own shower. This one is prima.Around is a balcony where the sun shines on it until much of the day. The stubbe downstairs is handy for so many people. But miss a fridge for drinking.Ideaal that the ski bus stops in front of the cottage. However, it does not run that often. Delicious restaurant is within walking distance.

The accommodation was better than advertised. The hosts were welcoming and helpful with the information. Although it is mentioned that the host does not speak English, we communicated quite well all we needed to know in English. Some of the furniture (like beds in some of the rooms) have been upgraded. Since there is no mention about what is included in the kitchen, I was woried thinks my be missing. Well, I was worried for nothing since they had equipped it with everything one would expect. And finally, the views from each of the rooms, and even from the Kitchen was awesome.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who lives on the ground floor. We were immediately given a cordial tour of the house. We could use the first floor. For dinner there was a stube, typically Austrian space, provided. Even after 9 p.m. we could continue to play our board games here. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and tidy. The kitchen has the necessary equipment. The presence of a tepannyaki plate gave us an extra delicious culinary evening. You could always go to the landlady with your questions and she was always ready. In hotel Victoria, across the street, you can get a delicious three-course menu at a favorable rate. The gondolas of zell am see are a 5-minute drive from the Sinnlehen apartment, and 20 minutes from the gondolas of Kitsteinhorn (Kaprun). In the village of Maishofen is a bakery where you can get fresh pistolets every morning. For us this was again a prime location.
