The cozy holiday home stands for feel-good ambience for sole use in a quiet scenic setting with garden terrace, sunbathing lawn and a garden house.
The holiday home with 84m² living space has two floors, 3 bedrooms and a small roof terrace

The house is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac. It has central heating with integrated underfloor heating in the sanitary areas (bathroom/WC), the bedrooms and living rooms are equipped with insect screens.
The fresh smelling bed linen, all cooking and tableware as well as hand and bath towels are part of the services, as well as the provided wood for the wood stove on cosy evenings in the living kitchen.
Against advance order and surcharge we spoil you with delicious basket-variatons and fresh delicacies as well as noble drops from our Vulkanland region
We will gladly organise the bread rolls for your breakfast - if desired.
In the warmer season our organic orchard with its pretty garden house invites you to barbecue and linger. Enjoy our currant, gooseberry, blackberry and rhubarb, depending on the season. Fresh herbs for good cooking are waiting for you in our garden.
Autumn spoils you with our own nuts, apples, quinces and grapes.
Our small garage offers a secure, lockable parking space for your bicycles or motorcycles. Depending on the size of your car, there may also be room for it.

Location and surroundings of object
In the midst of the gently rolling southeast Styrian thermal landscape lies the lovingly designed holiday home with a view of the village centre of Trautmannsdorf and its baroque parish church. Due to the central location of the Meißlberg and the proximity of the spa town of Bad Gleichenberg, the holiday home is an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours, golfing, visits to wine taverns and thermal springs.
Wonderful explorations by bike or car invite you in southern direction via Straden or Tieschen and Klöch to Bad Radkersburg with its Parktherme or further to our neighbouring country Slovenia. East of us, the historical Schlösserstrasse with its castles and ruins awaits its visitors.
Less than five minutes by car from the holiday home is the Styrassic Park. With its life-size dinosaurs, it is an eventful excursion for the whole family during the summer months!
Whether by bike, on foot or with the nostalgic Gleichenberg train, which runs directly along the Meißlberg - trips to our region are like balm for the soul
The beautifully designed 9-hole golf course in Bad Gleichenberg is also only a few minutes away by car and is a popular hiking route for our guests. In July 2009 an 18-hole golf course was opened in Klöch (17 km away).
The winter days invite for walks and primarily for visits of the surrounding thermal springs. The first ski slopes with guaranteed snow are about 1.5 hours away by car in the west of Styria.
Our Vulkanland region is also known for its excellent cuisine. Around the Meißlberg region, there are many cosy wine taverns and wine bars, as well as excellent restaurants, including some toque restaurants.

Cancellation terms:
Free cancellation possible up to 61 days before the arrival date.
Cancellation by the tenant - This should be done in writing in the interest of the tenant, including the rental confirmation. The date of receipt of the cancellation notice by the landlord is decisive for the timing of the cancellation and for the amount of the cancellation costs. In this case, standardized cancellation costs are charged: - For cancellation 60 to 42 days before the start of the rental period, 25% of the rental price. - For cancellation 41 to 28 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the rental price. - For cancellation from the 27th day before the start of the rental period or no-show, 65% of the rental price. - No cancellation fee is charged if the holiday home cannot be entered due to an epidemic or pandemic by official order.

Lovely volcanic country
We, a couple from Thuringia, stayed with our dog for eight days at the beginning of October 2019 with the Altenburger family in the very beautiful holiday home
We particularly liked the fact that it is a really small home with everything you would like to have at home yourself. This applies to the furnishings, which leave nothing to be desired, are modern and at the same time traditional, the beautiful fenced garden and the additional space in the garage and woodshed. Everything is very clean, the location extremely quiet and the view over the hills towards Trautmannsdorf simply wonderful
From the holiday home we could go on beautiful hikes in the direction of Trautmannsdorf or Bad Gleichenberg, take the small electric train to Feldbach and it was always a pleasant walk to the excellent Buschenschank Leitgeb.
Slovenia can be reached quickly in the region, e.g. Maribor, about 60 km away, is very worth seeing.
In the evenings back at the holiday home we could always nibble from the grapes in the garden and the walnuts in front of the house, and on the wood-burning cooker in the kitchen we could often roast sweet chestnuts that we had collected in the surrounding forest areas.
We felt really comfortable and had a very good rest.

Super holiday home
The holiday home is really beautiful, more than fully equipped and in an absolutely quiet location.
We were able to spend a relaxing week with our dog and hope to plan another break soon.
A big plus to Famile Altenburger, who are very pleasant landlords.

Very nice holiday home in a great location!
The holiday home on the Meisslberg leaves nothing to be desired. Clean, completely and very lovingly furnished in a great location, the four of us were able to spend a wonderful week in south-eastern Styria. We found the house just as it is described and presented on the internet - only even more beautiful! Our thanks go to the Altenburger family, who rented us their house in perfect condition for our holiday and convinced us with their warm hospitality.
