6 person holiday home in Juelsminde-By Traum

The property is nestled away from roads (long driveway) in the middle of the holiday home settlement and is completely surrounded by other houses, but hedges provide good privacy. The house is modern and the furnishings are top-notch! There are only typical signs of use. With 3 bedrooms, up to 6 people can be accommodated. The sauna is also great, recommended for 2-3 people. The kitchen is also well equipped, the refrigerator is super large with three freezer drawers and a modern dishwasher. The TV is a modern flatscreen and has great TV programming. The Wi-Fi was also excellent. Recommendations: 5 minutes from the house you can find great swimming spots in the Baltic Sea. Nearby (5 km) we found Palsgaard Gods, a nice destination for a bike trip. Juelsminde with its yacht harbor and wonderful beach is recommended for a day trip. Horsens is also easily reachable by car; there we found the Faengslet Prison Museum and the Industrial Museum super interesting. However, one should take a day for each visit, as the museums are really extensive.

The house was super clean and welcomed us warmly. The space is sufficient for a family with two older children and also offers room to retreat. The garden is very well-kept and invites you to play badminton. Recommendations: The path to access the water, beach is somewhat exaggerated; it is super easy and quick (maximum 10-minute walk) to reach and also invites you to linger with the dock. We did not go to Baden due to the mixed temperatures, but I can also imagine it well in summer. Excursions to Horsens to the various museums and the Aqua Forum water park were easy and very quick by car. Supermarkets of all kinds are nearby and also easily accessible in Horsens with various discounters. All in all, the offer was sufficiently comprehensive.

The rooms are well-shaped and the good furnishings. It should also be mentioned that there is a beautiful terrace. Recommendations: The rooms are well-shaped and the good furnishings. It should also be mentioned that there is a beautiful terrace.

Perfect spot for our family getaway! It was really spacious, enough room for all six of us to chill, The terrace was great for morning coffee, and we spent a lot of evenings in the sauna after a day of exploring, The nearby beaches were just a short drive away, and we found some nice local restaurants too, Overall, a really good value for the price, Only wish the check-in was a bit earlier,

If you book a cottage with high cleaning costs, you should expect to arrive in a clean cottage. This was not the case here; the bathroom in the shower corner was blackened with mold, cushions and toppers were also very dirty, the outdoor grill was too greasy to handle, the oven was also seriously dirty, the whole kitchen was filthy, we cleaned the plates and rack of the oven in the dishwasher. When using the extractor hood, you had to wash your hands because it was so greasy. In the pans, we still found remnants of spaghetti. The dishes and cutlery we used have been washed and placed on a clean garbage bag in the cupboard. We did not use the air conditioning; there was more than a cm of dust on it. The whole cottage was very dusty and had a lot of spider webs. Outside, it also looked dirty. The grass was mowed when it was already far too long. The long cut grass was left lying around, which was walked into the house and onto the terrace. Upon arrival, we immediately sent a complaint form; the next day someone came who cleaned the bathroom and the grill for 2 hours, and we received other cushions, the rest we had to do ourselves. We have been going to a cottage/apartment in Germany, Austria, and Italy for over 25 years, but have never experienced such a dirty cottage.

Comfortable beds and a modern kitchen made this a great place for our family outing. Strongly recommended the nearby Cafe Snaptun for dining.

The vacation home was clean and well-maintained. Although it covered all basic needs, we felt it could use a bit more character in terms of decor. The sauna and the large bath were highlights, though. Overall, a solid choice for a family getaway.

A fantastic place to relax! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living area was bright and airy. We particularly enjoyed the sauna - it's a great way to unwind after a busy day. The visit to the Danmarks Ferguson Museum nearby is highly recommended.

Excellently assisted by the customer service (Chaniva and Carmen) of Belvilla for the processing of a discount code when booking, Another small tip with the contact form: adding the option to send a copy of the sent message to the mailbox of the sender as a reminder, Or alternatively: include the correspondence with customer service in the data under "My Belvilla",
