The spacious layout made it perfect for our family of six, We loved the large windows in the living room that offered stunning views of the surrounding nature, The sauna was a fantastic addition, providing a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring nearby attractions like Palsgaard Slot, The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking a breeze, Overall, a peaceful and relaxing getaway that we would happily return to!

If you book a cottage with high cleaning costs, you should expect to arrive in a clean cottage. This was not the case here; the bathroom in the shower corner was blackened with mold, cushions and toppers were also very dirty, the outdoor grill was too greasy to handle, the oven was also seriously dirty, the whole kitchen was filthy, we cleaned the plates and rack of the oven in the dishwasher. When using the extractor hood, you had to wash your hands because it was so greasy. In the pans, we still found remnants of spaghetti. The dishes and cutlery we used have been washed and placed on a clean garbage bag in the cupboard. We did not use the air conditioning; there was more than a cm of dust on it. The whole cottage was very dusty and had a lot of spider webs. Outside, it also looked dirty. The grass was mowed when it was already far too long. The long cut grass was left lying around, which was walked into the house and onto the terrace. Upon arrival, we immediately sent a complaint form; the next day someone came who cleaned the bathroom and the grill for 2 hours, and we received other cushions, the rest we had to do ourselves. We have been going to a cottage/apartment in Germany, Austria, and Italy for over 25 years, but have never experienced such a dirty cottage.
