The house is as mentioned in the text from Belvilla 'outdated' but functional. However, there was mold in the shower cabin in several places. The cottage is not insulated; this has significant consequences in the summer, partly due to the extensive tree felling which has resulted in little shade around the cottage. The text suggests that the cottage is right by the water with its own dock and boat. In reality, the cottage is at least 1 km from the lake and we were unable to find the dock and boat. According to the booking, we could access the cottage from 9 a.m. In reality, the electronic lock of the key box only opened at 4 p.m. The accessibility of Belvilla in both the Netherlands and Germany is particularly poor. Ultimately, we had telephone contact with initially Belvilla Germany. After that, we contacted the DAN Center, and they couldn't help us either. Eventually, through the customer service of Belvilla Netherlands, we ended up at the emergency line. The employee noted our comments (see account above) and promised to get back to us as soon as possible. We have not received any feedback from Belvilla during the week of our stay until now (we have been home for a little over a week). In short; @ stay in the cottage 3 stars on a scale of 5. @ service van Belvilla 0 stars.
