It is a beautiful house, well located but older and in need of renovation. It smells a bit strong but that got better after airing it out for a few days. It is quite nooky and crannies so I would not book it for more than three people. Basically it was clean and comfortable but if the weather is bad and you prefer to stay at home there are inviting houses. We had a wonderful holiday in the house and in Henne. Next time we would probably book a house with a bit more comfort (dishwasher, washing machine, more spacious).

What we were very disappointed with was that it was downright dirty in the house. We took pictures of dirty pans (dust thumb thick on lids) in dirty cupboards, the oven was too dirty to handle and on the inside fat and dirty. The cupboard for the glasses was covered with greasy fingerprints. The shower was dirty and the air vent, bah. Light switches had dirty sweeps and the hob was full of grease and dust.Windowsills full of dead flies .... there was just not looked back.This cottage has 6 beds, but at most 2 people can only a short take a shower.The boiler has a limited capacity.The environment and location of the cottage could not be better.Beautiful.Therefore extra pity that no more care is spent on the cottage.
