De Haan is an authentic and charming seaside resort with many gardens and white villas in Norman cottage style. The seaside resort is sociable along the Zeedijk, the popular beach promenade with terraces and restaurants. An incredibly beautiful vacation!

We were with 4 adults and two small children in house number 10. The room layout was optimal for us. Porcelain, glasses, pots, cutlery, etc. were plentiful, so there was no need to wash after every meal. The household appliances such as washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, etc., as well as two bicycles, a children's bike, a balance bike, and a handcart left nothing to be desired. Plus an extraordinarily helpful landlord and fantastic weather, a beautiful, child-friendly beach (with very well-maintained toilets!) - an all-around great holiday. And last but not least: the final cleaning was included in the price.

Always a pleasure - Sea Side Village.

It was wonderful. The cottage was superbly equipped. A child's cot in every room. All household appliances from dishwasher to washing machine and dryer also make a longer stay with children easier. A small garden, bicycles in the shed, and various vehicles for the little ones make it even better.
The walk to the sea is not too far and is always rewarded with a magnificent large beach. I find the coastal train particularly enchanting, which we also used extensively. We traveled the entire route and walked along the beach everywhere. Wonderful. If you prefer it a bit livelier, you can quickly reach De Haan, whether by bike, train, car, or on foot along the beach. We will definitely come back.

Relaxing short break

We were looking for accommodation at short notice and came across this domicile. The first contact with the landlord by phone and email was very friendly and warm. He also had a little house available, so we excitedly packed our bags. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very nice landlord, a sparkling clean house, and a delicious bottle of red wine. Everything you need for a holiday with children is available: a baby cot, changing table, toys, two high chairs, etc. For dish soap, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, etc., everything is well taken care of. There is more than enough tableware and general equipment available, so this accommodation is more than recommended. We will definitely book again and recommend this house to everyone. We are looking forward to our next vacation in Belgium!!!

Beautiful house for the whole family

This year, we went on vacation with our grandson at the coast. We rented this house and were completely satisfied. The beach and the coastal tram for trips to Oostende and Blankenberge were also easily accessible on foot. Well-known supermarkets could be quickly reached by car. In short - It's possible to have an uncomplicated holiday.

Very beautiful holiday home in a prime location.

We spent our first vacation together with our twins in this holiday home and were very enthusiastic. The house is very clean and has everything you need for a stay with children. We didn't even have to unpack our own toys, there is plenty of toys available.

The house is located in the middle of a very well-kept holiday park. The beach can be reached quickly on foot, a bakery with very delicious fresh bread etc. is in the immediate vicinity.

All in all, highly recommended!

Perfect vacation with children

The Sea Side Village is perfect for a vacation with children. The house is equipped with everything you need for a child, from a baby monitor to toys, bikes, tricycles, sandbox, etc. The only downside was that our 8-month-old daughter was too small for the high chair provided. In that case, it's better to bring your own chair. The washing machine and dryer were particularly useful with the child. We highly recommend the house to any family with children :-)

Vicinity of the holiday home: Ruhige Lage, Strand und Tramhaltestelle in 15 Gehminuten problemlos zu erreichen, Bäcker in 2 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Supermarkt nur mit Auto oder Tram zu erreichen. Stadtzentrum von De Haan 2 Stationen mit dem Tram enfernt (5km).

shopping facilities: In der Nähe beim Bäcker bekommt man das nötigste an Lebensmitteln. Aufgepasst: Dienstags Ruhetag. Für alles andere muss man weiter fahren.

Nice accommodation

We had a great holiday in Vosseslag. We particularly enjoyed the high-rise-free beautiful beach and well-developed network of cycling routes. We were able to rent 2 children's bicycles in De Haan to complement the two bicycles available, which we used for extensive bike rides.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Beinahe ruhige Lage innerhalb einer Feriensiedlung. Straßengeräusche beim Befahren von Baustellen-Lkws an 2 Tagen waren etwas störend.

free time activities: Strand in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Keine Hochhausbebauung am Strand, im Gegensatz zu anderen Orten an der belgischen Küste.

shopping facilities: 2 Bäckerreien mit je kleinem Supermarkt in der Nähe.

A truly beautiful and well-equipped holiday home, bright and friendly furnished, very spacious with a good layout, nice closed rooms on the top floor (accessible via a comfortable wooden staircase), technically well equipped, pretty enclosed small garden with patio furniture and play equipment, good bicycles and children's toys, several German TV channels and the internet worked right away :-)... Stayed for 1 week in house number 12. Everything very well maintained. Our little one loved being pulled to the beach with the cart. The house really lacks nothing.

free time activities: Da alles sehr flach ist, kann man sehr gu Radtouren unternehmen. Mit dem Auto oder der Küstentram kann man auch gut die nähere Umgebung erkunden.

shopping facilities: Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen (teuren) Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei. Doch schon im Nachbarort Bredene gibt es auch einen Lidl.

Vacation in House No. 07

Hello Ludwig. We felt very comfortable during the 2 weeks we were able to spend in your house, almost like at home. We lacked nothing. The house was beautifully furnished, clean, the grounds were very well maintained, and the beach was not far away. It was a wonderful place to relax. Perhaps next time we will come with my sister and her children. There was still room in the square for several people, and children would have had a lot of fun in your house with all the toys. Thank you for everything Marion and Dieter.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die Lage war herrlich ruhig und trotzdem zental. Man konnte mit dem Auto in die nächsten Orte fahren, oder mit der Bahn die gesamte Küste entlang oder für zum Fahrradfahren war die Gegend sehr gut geeignet.

free time activities: Freizeitmöglichkeiten haben wir nicht genutzt, deshalb können wir dazu nichts sagen.

shopping facilities: Richtung DeHaan konnte man gut einkaufen, aber auch in Bredene nicht weit entfernt, nur in der anderen Richtung gab es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Man war Ruckzuck zu Fuß am Wasser. Ferienanlage war zu unserer Zeit sehr ruhig. Nach den Haan konnten man auch durch einen kleinen Wald laufen, dort gibt es für Kinder auch einen Abenteuerspielplatz. Oder an einer ruhigen Straße, wenn man nicht am Strand entlang laufen wollte

free time activities: riesen Strände, werden ein kleines bisschen schmäler bei Flut.... sowas gibt es an der Deutschen Nordseeküste (Festland)überhaupt nicht. Ein Traum! Mit Kusttram Ruckzuck in anderen Orten.Gibt 1, 3, 5 Tagesticket am Lotto- und Zeitungsladen zu kaufen.

shopping facilities: Bäcker, 1x Woche kleiner Wochenmarkt, kleiner Supermarkt für den täglichen Bedarf.... ansonsten in den Nachbarorten gibt es Alles.
