Unique house with the rain gutters all the way to the ground. Secluded, partly closed garden with a good lawn. The living room has a corner sofa and an extra barker lounge chair in front of the wood-burning stove. Open concept living room and kitchen with a dish washer, microwave oven and small freezer.

The location of the cottage was great. The cottage is in need of maintenance. We were just not on time to collect the key. We have called different telephone numbers to indicate that we were not going to be able to collect the key before the indicated arrival time. At the number indicated as Emergency number was recorded. Reference was made to the travel documents that would state where and how we could obtain the key after closing time. Unfortunately we did not have that information. The key turned out to be in a safe for which you needed a code. We met Dutch people who could help us. No staff were to be found in the DanCentre building, despite the swimming pool, bar and hotel rooms.

Wonderful place to discover Central Denmark. With trips to Legoland / Legohouse, Ribe (viking village) and the island of Funen plenty to do. A few hundred meters from a small and not very busy beach with plenty of opportunities for swimming, canoeing, catching crabs, etc. Also Kolding is only 20 minutes by car and has enough fun to offer for young families.
