Peaceful and beautiful location by the sea. Recommendations: Sjötorp where the locks begin, lovely cafe, and restaurant' Perssons i backen' amazing fish& chips. Båt excursions on the locks and on the vänern. Mariestad, lyrestad and Daisys cafe.. with good weather bathing and swimming.

The house was clean and cozy. Everything you need is there. The view of the lake during breakfast is unbeatable. Here and there are minor spots in the house that could be repaired, but this does not affect the stay in any way. The landlords were very nice and unobtrusive. Really to be recommended.
