Very beautiful large house in a very quiet location, about 5 minutes to the beautiful beach thanks to a small shortcut on the property to the road. The house offers everything needed for a vacation with several families with children; we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, the house was not clean upon our arrival, which upset us as we had paid for a final cleaning and had to clean ourselves first. Recommendations: The island is simply beautiful, there is something to discover in every corner, many beautiful hiking trails at Hammershus and Opalsee, as well as in the Echo Valley where the children had fun with their own echo. There are nice narrow hiking paths through the forest with the bison, and it is simply fantastic to observe the animals up close, very impressive animals. The family and amusement park is great for children of all ages, there is something for everyone and the food options are excellent, the ice cream must be tried. The sandy landscape in Dueodde is beautiful, just dare to walk across it, you always end up somewhere. We had a very good meal at the wine and whiskey distillery for daily. Evening buffet (with registration) for wine lovers, the wine menu is recommended (wine tastings) (can also be done during the day while passing by), the bird show was very interesting, it is really worth coming right in the morning at 10 o'clock when the program starts and staying until the end, great people. The medieval center is also nice, especially since you buy a weekly ticket, you can come back again and again. The small fishing villages and landscape are uniquely beautiful. The people are all super friendly and everything is so relaxed and balanced, it is good for the soul to slow down. We will come back.
