1. The house is beautifully located. Great view of the fjord and mountains. You can't see the midnight sun directly (and have to drive 5 km). The property is right by the fjord, but it's a rocky and stony coast. / 2. The apartment is well laid out. We only used the lower floor. Under the roof, there are two more bedrooms with double beds. / 3. The furnishings are both cozy and tasteful down to the details. / 4. Everything you need is there, and it's not cluttered with things you don't need. There is also space for your own things. / 5. There are 2 balconies and a terrace, so you can follow the sun around the house (if it shines). / 6. The reception is friendly, and the landlords are always helpful. / 7. Vacation anytime again in this cabin. Recommendations: 1. The old fishing village of Nyksund (20 km drive) at the northern end of the island / 2. The place Stø can be reached via another road (be sure to visit the church and the trading square in Langenes beforehand). From there, the coastal hiking path leads to Nyksund. After about half an hour, you reach a beautiful sandy beach that is worth a whole day in good weather. You can also hike the coastal path from Nyksund, but you first climb steeply up 200 meters and then steeply down again. / 3. Drive around the island Melbu (definitely visit the Hurtigruten Museum in Stokmarknes) / 4. Trip to Andenes (great location, ugly place). The east side of the island is navigated. / 5. Round trip of the western part of Langøya. Accessible only through a long tunnel. / 6. Day trip to Harstad: there church and museum. "Adolfkanone" only with guidance as it is on Norwegian military territory. / 7. Day trip to Lofoten (ferry Melbu). Don't plan too much. We only managed Kabelvåg (definitely viewpoint Kong-Øystein statue) and Henningsvær. However, Henningsvær is overrun by tourists.
