We really enjoyed the Orzale vineyard. It was wonderfully quiet. A great place to unwind and relax. It was very refreshing. And a great view of the hills of Tuscany. The wine and olive oil from there are highly recommended.

Bella Italia

Arrive, feel comfortable, and simply relax – that's Orzale. It has become a kind of second home for us. Conversing in English with the new hosts works wonderfully, who are very friendly and helpful. A big plus are the new barbecue areas with the best views right in front of the holiday apartments. The Bistecca from the good butcher in Montaione tastes even better, and the matching olive oil with a good glass of wine from the owners rounds it all off. Our walks through the vineyards are always a special experience. Where is the path? Where does it continue? Right or left? In the end, we always arrived somewhere, and fun was never lacking. Of course, there are still the wonderful little towns that always have new surprises in store, but our favorite place remains Montaione. We will definitely come back!

Like a second home - only more beautiful

We too are "repeat offenders." I have known the winery since my childhood and now enjoy coming with my own children. The rustic holiday apartments in the old stone buildings are timelessly cozy. The new owners also handle the unique ambiance of the estate very carefully.
This time we enjoyed "our" hill with a view in all directions as a large family. The well-maintained pool (enclosed) and the numerous seating areas are luxurious, each terrace offering a magnificent view where we enjoyed the evenings with fireflies and good wine at long tables. For those itching to move, hiking, cycling, or visiting one of the many beautiful towns nearby (Montaione, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence...) in the afternoon is an option.

Fantastic end of summer in Orzale!

The Orzale winery is located on a small hill in a fantastic location, with a beautiful view over Tuscany. After a warm welcome, we settled into our well-equipped and very clean apartment on the 1st floor. We were delighted to find that (even though it was October) the clean and beautifully situated pool was open. The views over the valleys of Tuscany, the water, and the well-kept loungers invite you to relax there. From Orzale, you can take great trips to the historic cities of Tuscany.
Those seeking peace and relaxation will not be disappointed here.
Of course, we took several cases of the great wine home with us.
A little tip for the trip in autumn or on rainy days:
A few candles make the evenings in the apartment even cozier and compensate for the somewhat sparse lighting typical of the region.

Our home in Tuscany

Once again we unwound our souls at Orzale, the winery with tradition, where wine and oil are actually still produced. Since 1986, we have been to this little paradise almost every year, sometimes even twice, with an interruption in recent years. We enjoy the peace and quiet there, the fantastic landscape and the wonderful towns nearby. The estate offers everything you need to relax: peace and quiet, a pool harmoniously integrated into the grounds, vineyards, flats furnished in typical Tuscan style with everything you need. The owners look after the guests with love and always help when you need them. Andrea Ventisette, studied oenologist and owner with his two sisters, makes excellent wine and presses excellent olive oil. Both can be enjoyed directly at Orzale. We will be back!

Herzliches Orzale

We visited Orzale in 2018 and have already booked for 2019! I think that speaks for itself. A beautiful property for anyone seeking absolute tranquility. A great location to reach certain famous cities of the stunning Tuscany. We explored a lot with our bikes in the area, which was wonderful. We also spent lovely hours at the well-maintained pool. Very well-kept, clean, and the Ventisette family takes excellent care of their guests. Everything was very uncomplicated and very warm. We are already looking forward to our next vacation at this beautiful property.

Fantastic vacation!

For the third year in a row, we spent our summer vacation at the Orzale winery. Just like the two previous years, it was a wonderful and relaxing holiday in a fantastic location. This time, we also traveled with a baby. The clean and lovingly furnished vacation apartment in the Tuscan style had a high chair and crib ready for us in the bedroom. With the hospitable and helpful Ventisette family, you can easily communicate in English! At the pool, with a wonderful view, there are plenty of lounge chairs available for relaxing. Despite the quiet location, various excursions, shopping opportunities, and restaurants can be reached in a short time. Again, thank you for the lovely holiday and see you next year! :-)

Wunderschönes Weingut

We are now guests for the ninth time in this beautifully located winery and can only recommend it. It is not far from historic cities like Florence, Siena, Lucca, Volterra, and not to forget Pisa. Also, the location of the winery is good for relaxing, and the owners are very friendly.

Tuscany for relaxation - highly recommended

We felt extremely comfortable at the Orzale winery. The apartment was very clean and stylishly decorated. One of the highlights of the property is the pool with panoramic views of the hilly landscape and the approach through a cypress alley. Only the WiFi in the apartment was a bit weak. Time flew by with relaxation, shopping, and coffee in Montaione, as well as day trips to Volterra or the coast.

Urlaubstradition

Our family has been visiting Orzale for over 25 years now, back then with our grandparents. Since then, we have returned almost every year with few exceptions, sometimes just the two of us, often with a larger group and the whole family.
It has always been great vacations, and one feels at home from the first moment, yet far removed from everyday life.
At the vineyard, one finds total peace and relaxation, and the area also offers new destinations for activities. The hosts are friendly and warm and always strive to make the holiday guests feel comfortable. We are already looking forward to the next Orzale time!

Holiday in Orzale "Cassetta"

Since 1985, I have been traveling to Orzale with my family and friends, sometimes even twice a year. I am familiar with 5 out of the 7 apartments. The standard of the apartment and kitchen is good, and the equipment is suitable even for someone who enjoys cooking. The estate and the Ventisette family complete the Tuscan dream. The impressive surroundings of Pisa, the Apuan Alps, and the countryside of Siena create an unparalleled periphery. The sun and the pool complete every holiday. The wine - red or white - from the estate is exceptional. Not least due to the distance from the road San Vivaldo - Sughera, absolute peace is ensured from the outside world. Everyday necessities can be purchased in Mura and Montaione. Restaurants and trattorias catering to all tastes can be found in the immediate vicinity.

Highly recommended

In the summer of 2014, we spent a wonderful week at Orzale. Due to the beautiful surroundings and the spacious pool, we spent most of our time at the winery or in the nearby Montaione, rather than taking a trip to the sea. We were impressed by the tasteful and fully equipped, very clean apartment, and the friendly hosts. A highlight was the tour of the wine cellar and the winemaking facilities, as we were there during the harvest. By car, it is not far to San Gimignano, where you can go shopping very well. The leather goods there, for example, are locally produced, very high quality, and not expensive. All in all, a very nice place to relax and enjoy.
