In this small village in Blekinge is a nice little cottage on the owner's plot. In this area there are good opportunities for an active and varied outdoor life. Here, nature is always close and offers recreation in many different forms, with everything from physical challenges to tranquil relaxation. Just a stone's throw from the cottage is Mörrumsån which attracts many recreational fishermen. Here you can e.g. fish for salmon and sea trout. The salmon ladder at Hemsjö means that the fish can walk all the way to Fridafors. In the village, 1 km from the cottage, is Lake Abborrasjön with a nice swimming area. Just 20 km away is Karlshamn which is a very nice summer town right by the sea. There is a lot to discover here, among other things. the beautiful archipelago. The cottage is on two floors. Downstairs there is a living room with a sofa bed and TV. Good to know is that there is no separate sofa. There is a toilet and also a separate shower room with washing machine. In the middle of the cottage there is a small cozy kitchen in older style. Upstairs is a bedroom with two single beds and a cot. A nice, charming room with sloping ceilings. The furniture is simple and nice. The plot is cozy and there is a patio where you can sit and enjoy the sun during the day and barbecue in the evening. Warm welcome!

The holiday home has everything needed for a stay. The house was not quite clean when we arrived, as it apparently had not been used for a while. The mattresses in the upper beds were very worn out. We did not have Wi-Fi, but the mobile reception was fine. The house is located not far from the river Mörrumsån; the fishing license is very expensive at 60-95€ per day, but that is because you can fish for salmon and trout there. We did not fish there ourselves. The house is located on the edge of a nature reserve, where you can walk on paved paths or ride a bike. There are several bridges where you can cross the Mörrumsån. There are also some suspension bridges over the river. Shopping options can be found in Olofström or Karlshamn. Recommendations: In Karlshamn, there are good opportunities to eat fresh fish at the harbor. There were many visitors there on the weekend. In Olofström there is a canoe center where you can rent a canoe and explore the lake from the boat. You will often find small rest areas, which are often equipped with seating and a grill. Also near Karlshamn there is a nature reserve that you can hike through, where you can fish and some viewpoints are even accessible for wheelchair users. Here too, you will find many opportunities for a rest, with seating and a grill. In some places, it is also possible to fish. The different routes are located in the forest area, so you have plenty of shade while hiking.

The house is beautifully decorated and has a cozy feel. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The nearby ski lifts were a nice surprise, and we had a fantastic day on the slopes!
