The location is in a beautiful holiday home area, but it is very open from the front, as there is no hedge/privacy screen. This did not bother us, but one should know. Large property with play equipment for smaller children. Recommendations: The very large lake nearby invites you to hike, boat, fish, and engage in sports. Silkeborg Centrum is only about 15 minutes away.

The house has a very quiet and easily accessible location. The equipment is really top-notch. Starting from the Weber charcoal grill (including chimney starter) to the kitchen utensils (champagne & wine glasses, baking dish, garlic press, . . .). Everything was really available. The house is very modern and we felt completely comfortable. If the linen package is not booked, it should be mentioned that it is best to bring large fitted sheets for the double beds (180cm x 200cm) as the beds have a topper. We had to improvise a bit here. Recommendations: Good location for numerous excursions such as sightseeing in Aarhus and Aalborg or Skagen in the far north. Good shopping options and leisure activities (cinema, bowling, ...) are available in Silkeborg.
