Holiday home situated on the beachfront in Leirvik by Sognefjorden in Hyllestad municipality. Here, you can fish from the covered terrace and enjoy the view while listening to the seagulls and the waves crashing against the shore. This fisherman's cabin is in the middle of three and has a covered veranda on both floors. The other two are holiday home no. 56572, and the landlord's private cabin. Free internet for surfing, no streaming Underfloor heating on the ground floor. Two of the bedrooms have doors to a covered terrace. Two of the bedrooms have two 90 cm wide folding single beds. One of these two bedrooms has a curtain into the next room which has a 120 cm wide double bed with a 90 cm wide upper bunk. Hyllestad is rich in nature experiences, from typical coastal areas to more sheltered valleys and heather moors. The coast and fjord at Hyllestad offer a rich sea fishing. Fishing in the fjord is best in spring and autumn, but there is plenty of fish most of the year. There are also many good opportunities for fishing in freshwater and rivers, like in Espelandsvannet or in the river Lona, about 6 km away. In Hyllestad, there has been a large industry of millstone production, with exports dating back to the Viking Age. The majestic mountain Lihesten is an Eldorado for happy hikers and climbers. From the top (710 masl) there are views of the sea and the hinterland, there are also a variety of marked hiking trails in the area. The Trondheim postal route went through the municipality, and there are still impressive stone bridges left along the 40 km long stretch between Leirvik and Dale. A walk along the old post road can be done either on foot or by bicycle. Leirvik is a good starting point for day trips to attractions and activities by the Sognefjord and in Sunnfjord. An island-hopping trip along the coast with the mail boat from Solund is recommended. Bergen is a 2.5-hour drive away. It takes about 8 minutes by car to Hyllestad, and here it is possible to refuel the boat at a gas station with a card machine. Boat for rent in the marina 100 m away: 1x 18 foot boat Øien 530 F with 25 hp Yamaha, chartplotter / gps / echo sounder. Life jackets included in the boat rental, and there is access to a covered filleting area with water and light. Payment terminal for bank cards.

Das Haus war von außen eher unscheinbar aber sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sogar ein Obstkorb stand für uns bereit, 2 Kritiken hab ich aber doch, für 6 erwachsene Personen waren die Schlafmöglichkeiten eher schlecht, / Eine Person im Etagenbett im Durchgangszimmer, abgetrennt mit einem Vorhang( ohne Fenster) / und dann gab es nicht wie ausgeschrieben 2 Toiletten, (war unsere Bedingung für die Buchung),

Die Ausstattung und die Lage direkt am Fjord, Das Boot war direkt neben dem Haus vorhanden, Vor Ort ist direkt eine Tankstelle und Schwimmwesten werden gestellt, Grill und Zerlegplatz ist topp,

Es war alles vorhanden was im Haushalt benötigt wird und auch darüber hinaus, Sauber und geräumig, Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber vor Ort, Haben uns mit Lebensmittel über die Pfingstfeiertage ausgeholfen und uns ein Obstkorb als Präsenz vorbereitet, SUPER!!

The house was rather inconspicuous from the outside but very lovingly furnished, there was even a fruit basket waiting for us. However, I have 2 criticisms; for 6 adult persons, the sleeping arrangements were rather poor. One person had to sleep in a bunk bed in the passageway, separated by a curtain (without a window). Additionally, there were not 2 toilets as advertised (which was our condition for booking).

The equipment and the location right on the fjord, The boat was right next to the house, There is a gas station on site and life jackets are provided, BBQ and cutting area are great.

Everything needed for the household was available and more, clean and spacious. Very friendly and helpful hosts on site. They helped us out with groceries over the Pentecost holidays and prepared a fruit basket as a gift. SUPER!!
