The house has a beautiful quiet location with adjacent meadows behind it, which we found particularly great as dog owners. The beautiful beach is also not far away, and there is a small harbor with a few fishing boats. We enjoyed walking here; we were here in April, and the water was still too cold for swimming. It is a cozy house with everything you need. The living room and the beds were very comfortable. Large bathroom with a really generous shower. The two large terraces and the garden where you can sit outside in any weather and observe squirrels and birds pleased us very much; even rabbits and deer came by from time to time. So anyone looking for peace and relaxation is definitely in the right place here. We felt very comfortable here for the week. Recommendations: There is much to discover in Lolland, e.g. the Dodekalitten, the old train station in Bandholm, the Knuthenborg Safari Park. We would definitely recommend a trip to Albuen and Hyllekrog. The info center about the construction of the Fehmarn Tunnel in Rodbyhavn is also very interesting. Right at the front on the street, there is a small shop and a pizzeria; the food is very good and the prices are reasonable. The fact that you can only pay in cash is not a problem since there is an ATM in front of the shop. In the neighboring village of Hummingen, there are also two restaurants.

The key safe allows for flexible arrival, especially if coming by ferry (we had a delay of about 1 hour). The electricity meter is easy to find but the search for the water meter is a bit difficult, as the meter is located at the beginning of the driveway in the ground and is covered by a pile of leaves. The rooms are spacious and the shower is also suitable for people with disabilities, as you can comfortably place a shower stool or similar. Not good: The couch was full of dog hair and the blankets were full of sand; we had to vacuum the couch and put the blankets away because they smelled of dog. One should pay a little attention to the final cleaning, in this case a €42 cleaning inspection fee because we cleaned it ourselves, as there are also people who are allergic to pet hair.
