We had a wonderful holiday at the Villa Syriani. For the first week there were only two of us and we were joined by my daughter and her boyfriend for the second. The villa was brilliantly situated with views over the bay and the village and the walk into the village was easy and pleasurable along our private, lit path to the sea. We were well looked after by Elpida, who was helpful and friendly but unobtrusive considering she lived next door. The pool and the terraces were great with different areas so we could find shade or sun as we desired. The internet connection was fast and excellent - better than at home in England! The linen, crockery and kitchen equipment was all of excellent quality and it was a treat to have sheets and towels changed twice a week. It was wonderful chill out venue and holiday. Jassu Reisen were great agents - very friendly and efficient. Our advice to any other travellers is not to bother with a car - parking in the capital is very difficult and taxis are reasonable and plentiful (Elpida is a taxi driver) and travelling by bus would be quite fun - it is a tiny island. Also go to the Aquarium - it is very interesting and bigger than it looks from the outside.

Als treue Jassu Kunden haben wir wieder ein tolles Haus erwartet - waren diesmal aber etwas enttäuscht. Es war okay, aber am unteren Ende des Vorstellbaren. Es gibt wunderschön ausgemalte und möblierte 4 Zimmer, eines davon führt jedoch in eine Putzkammer und das Bad dazu ist nicht mehr ganz hygienisch. Das dritte Bad mit Toilette geht direkt von der Küche weg und die Klobürsten sind leider schon lange nicht mehr ausgetauscht worden. Also man sollte einander schon sehr gut kennen, um hier z.b. zu acht zu weilen. Bis auf ein Zimmer sind die Doppelbetten schmal. Schade ist auch um die gemauerten Sitzplätze z.B. unter einem alten Olivenbaum, oder oberhalb des (schmutzigen) Grills, um die sich schon lange niemand mehr gekümmert hat. Die Lage oberhalb der Bucht führte dazu, dass die Bässe der Barmusik regelmäßig die Idylle durchbrachen. Jedoch ist die Infrastruktur auf einer Kykladeninsel weit besser als zum Beispiel auf dem Pelopones oder Kreta. Mir persönlich war letzteres auch lieber, Authentizität, niedrige Preise und eben keine laute Musik finde ich erholsamer. Was gut war: der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt, die Putzfrau war sehr nett und ist pünktlich und regelmäßig erschienen und die Vermittlerin vor Ort hat sich mit rauem Charme aber gut gekümmert.

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse à Kini. La maison est magnifique, bénéficie de tout le confort moderne et de tous les produits de première nécessité. L'accueil de Stella était parfait. La maison était très propre. Les terrasses sont toujours ombragée et nous ont permis de profiter de la vue magnifique sur la baie de Kini. La piscine a été très appréciée des enfants. La station balnéaire de Kini est très agréable, elle dispose de belles plages, de plusieurs très bons restaurants et d'une petite supérette pour les achats supplémentaires. Kini est très bien relié à Ermopoulis en bus, ce qui permet de se passer de voiture. La ville d'Ermopoulis mérite plusieurs visites. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir très vite....

The standard and functionality of all equipment worked well. The service and support from the owner and her team who looked after the house and received us upon arrival during our visit and departure were very professional and service minded. We can without hesitation recommend this villa to any other tourists looking for a perfect retreat. We know what we are talking about since we have done this on many occasions in many parts of the world. First class indeed..

We chose the island of Syros for our family holiday in Greece on the recommendation of Australian Greek friends. What a great choice it was. As we are a family of 7 it was not easy to find a large enough villa flr a reasonable price. Syriani House was the perfect choice. From the time of booking to our very late arrival off the ferry from Athens everything was exceptionally well organized by Jassu. We were welcomed by Polly, the lovely owner who showed us around then left us with a very welcome snack of wine and cheeses. The view from the open deck was stunning overlooking the sparkling lights of Kini and Mediterranean below. The house itself had been recently renovated to a ver high standard and with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, fitted our family of 7 (late teens to early 30s plus 2 oldies), perfectly. The beds were very comfortable. There were 3 choices lf outdoor eating areas depending on the sun heat and time of day- all with spectacular views. It was a short 5 minute walk down to the beach each day with a huge variety of waterfront restaurants and Tavernas to choose from.Also the bus to Hefmopolous very easy to catch for bigger sbops or a 10 minute taxi ride. Our family spent a wonderful week there in July 2012. We will all return one day- sadly Australia is so far away.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks at the house SYRIANI with 3 generations. Following the motto enjoying the view, we spent a lot of time on the terraces with a great sea view. The pool provided great joy for the kids and adults and is nice and big. Through the stairs in the garden, you reach the beach of Kini in a few minutes. A very beautiful, sheltered bay with super sand for playing and lounging. There are about 5 taverns on the beach, all delicious and child-friendly. The prices are absolutely fair. We were there without a car, as everything is within walking distance. The bus runs regularly from Kini to Ermoupolis and back. When we did major shopping in Ermoupolis, we took a taxi back. Elpida, the manager and taxi driver, picked us up at the port and also brought us back. On the other side of the house is Lotus Beach with lots of natural shade. Since there are no taverns here, it was not crowded. Elpida and the landlords Polly and Stella from Athens regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was fine and took great care of us. We traveled via Athens on the way there and back through Mykonos, so no overnight stay was necessary. A big thank you to JASSU Reisen for the perfect planning. A dream vacation and we would love to come back.

This house is perhaps the most beautiful we have ever booked in Greece. It is very tastefully decorated, has a charming view of the wonderful sandy bay and the blue sea from the hillside, as well as evening sunsets, spacious terraces, a pool to feel comfortable in, and a private path to the beach - ideal for a large family and friends. The landlady, the caretaker, and the neighbors showered us with attentions from the kitchen and garden. Recommended tavernas along the bay can be reached on foot or in a few minutes by car over the mountain to the charming capital. Syros is not a tourist island, but real Cycladic life. Rating 1 from a family with a lot of Greece vacation experience.

The view is truly wonderful, the place peaceful, the people helpful. The house is very lovingly furnished. A few comfortable sun loungers would be the icing on the cake for outdoor stays. The seat cushions could be renewed. And of course, it's a shame that the two palm trees are no longer there. But overall, it's a great house in a truly excellent location if you just want to relax.

The 100-year-old consulate house exudes a special ambiance. It has been lovingly renovated and each room is decorated in tasteful colors. You can take the footpath to the beach of Kini in your swimsuit. The view from the terrace is wonderful. One thing was missing for us: the two palm trees on the sides of the house were cut down. As a result, the outer appearance of the house has suffered.

We had a wonderful week in Kini. The house is beautiful, has all modern comforts and all essential products. Stella's welcome was perfect. The house was very clean. The terraces are always shaded and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view of the bay of Kini. The swimming pool was greatly appreciated by the children. The seaside resort of Kini is very pleasant, it has beautiful beaches, several very good restaurants and a small supermarket for additional shopping. Kini is very well connected to Ermoupolis by bus, which allows you to do without a car. The city of Ermoupolis deserves several visits. We hope to be able to come back very soon....

We spent three wonderful weeks in the House Syriani. The location of the house, the unique view of the wide sea in the west and the nice village Kini in the east is great. In addition, there are two beaches within a short walking distance and another one via a scenic path in 30 minutes. Nice taverns right on the water are also reachable in 5 minutes. The pool is an additional luxury. The house with the three equal rooms and the 3 small bathrooms was perfectly suitable for us with our adult children and is very well equipped. Elpida took great care of us and organized the pickup and return of our defective car. We also enjoyed the island very much, especially the lonely north and the beautiful city of Ermoupolis with many events including cinema and theater. The only downside of the house was the neglected garden with the palm stump and the not very inviting shaded terraces. We think that it would have been more important to design them more nicely than the well-maintained beach access with irrigation system. That's why we would currently give 4 points.

After a short stay 2 years ago, this time we stayed in the house for 2 weeks, including 3 children and my parents. The house is big enough for 7 people, the view is fantastic, the beaches are beautiful, the tavernas directly on the beach are within walking distance and very good in terms of price and quality. The ambience in the house shows a lot of taste and the kitchen as well as the barbecue are great. Greece as it should be.

We were there with three children. The house is in freshly renovated condition. 3 terraces offer a view to "pinch" every morning. Kitchen very well equipped. Fantastic barbecue. private footpath incl lighting lotion. The village is beautiful with a choice of tavernas and mini-markets within walking distance. but up the mountain you are all to yourself. If you are looking for a Greece with only Greek tourists this is the island and this house for you.

This house is perhaps the most beautiful we have ever booked in Greece. It is very tastefully furnished, has an enchanting view of the wonderful sandy bay and the blue sea from the hillside, as well as of the sunsets in the evening, spacious terraces, a pool to feel good in and a private exit to the beach - ideal for a large family and friends. From the landlady, the manager and the neighbours, we were lavishly provided with attentions from the kitchen and garden. Recommended tavernas along the bay can be reached on foot or in a few minutes by car over the mountain in the charming capital. Syros is not a tourist island, but real Cycladic life. Beautiful house with a great view over the bay; good facilities, pool is cleaned twice a week. The manager is very caring; taverns on the beach are very good; bus connection on the island is also good, you don't need a car; the capital is worth seeing; if you go to Syros, you should know that there is a lot of wind waiting for you at any time of the year and little greenery, as it hardly ever rains; and many stray cats, which are very photogenic; there is not much going on, which we found very pleasant, and the island is also less touristy than other Cyclades islands; for a week of relaxation, the perfect place with island feeling and Greek friendliness. Tip: there are also cheap flights to Mykonos and from there it is only an hour by ferry to Syros; we would have liked to do it that way because it is much less hassle than via Athens.

We spent 9 wonderful days at Villa Syriani with 2 families. The house is beautiful, nothing was missing! The manager Elpida took excellent care of us, organised the transfer from the harbour to the house and was always available if we had any questions. We will miss the wonderful sunsets in the bay of Kini and will definitely come back again!
