A beautiful, very well-equipped house in a magnificent location, with a view of the sea, olive groves, and mountains! An oasis of tranquility! Here we spent very relaxing days, enjoyed the wind and the waves on nearly empty beaches, listened at night to the sea waves and the chirping of the cicadas, and gazed at the clear starry sky above us, all-inclusive open-air overnight stay under the Milky Way with shooting stars and sunset over the sea. A dream! In Keratocampos/Kastri there are small supermarkets and cozy taverns. Thank you very much, Emanuel, for the warm welcome and this beautiful place! Now we have been able to enjoy "our little paradise" for the second time. 3 weeks of wonderful peace, sunshine, and a well-equipped house. The house really has everything you need, now even a sandwich maker, great. Special praise must also be given to the 4-star service; every three days, it is thoroughly cleaned, and there are fresh bed linens and towels. The absolute highlight is and remains the super comfortable spot under the olive tree with a wonderful view of the azure blue sea. Well then, see you next year? ;-)

Those seeking peace and relaxation are absolutely right here, a very beautiful and very well-equipped house - okay, the beds could be a bit softer - with a magnificent view of the azure blue sea, which is only 2 minutes away. The water is still wonderfully warm in October, and today we have the first day with a few clouds after almost 3 weeks, otherwise only sun and radiant blue sky. From the roof of the house, there is a great panoramic view, and at night you can admire the fantastic starry sky. All the taverns in the village and in Kastri, the neighboring village, are highly recommended; the food is very tasty and inexpensive... the hosts are very friendly, and there is plenty of Raki after the meal... You can also buy everything you need, and the island offers many great places to explore... If one wants to move away at all, it is so beautiful here that one doesn't need to drive around much. We did not find the proximity of the second house disturbing; we only had very nice and also peace-seeking neighbors. Thanks also to the Jassu team, very good service.

Location: perfectly situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, 50 meters to the secluded beach of the still-sleepy community of Keratokombos - almost at the end of the world. Extensive peace and relaxation with a beautifully stunning starry sky and absolute tranquility. The fully equipped kitchen also allows for cooking meals. The ambiance, the daylight illumination, and the lighting in the house in the evening make one always feel comfortable - a perfect place to let go.

simply fantastic, very nice landlord, regular change of linen, fresh flowers, wonderful olive oil and good wine were provided in the house; highly recommended to drive a few kilometers to Lithos Beach - secluded, turquoise water and opportunity for nude bathing. We recommend Jimmy's Tavern in Kastri, which is run by women; we were allowed to choose what we wanted to eat in the kitchen, the boss bought fresh okra/bamies for us on our request during her trip to Heraklion and cooked them for us. It was a wonderful two weeks, unfortunately the weather played tricks on us for a few days, but we could endure it well in this cozy house with a large terrace and a beautiful view and recovered fantastically.

In this beautiful and tastefully furnished and well-equipped house Armenopetra with a great terrace and a view over the Mediterranean planted, fenced property to the sea, we have spent dreamy days once again. The accommodation is located totally quiet at the end of Keratokampos and only a few steps from the rocky beach, for which we recommend water shoes. The location of the property is ideal for escaping mass tourism. The conversations about everything under the sun with Manolis, the very well German-speaking and extremely helpful landlord, were always nice and entertaining. Nearby, in Keratokampos and Kastri, there are some taverns right on the shore that offer delicious food. Excursions are possible to places like Ano Viannos, Mirtos, Ierapetra, and the Lassithi Plateau.

We stayed at the House Armenopetra for the fourth time this year and will be there for the fifth time in 2019. Ultimately, everything has already been said about this house and also about the second one, Vigla. Peace, relaxation, a break from the potentially stressful everyday life in our northern regions, the sea reachable in two minutes, an open horizon from east to west, the Milky Way in the sky at night. A few good taverns in just under two kilometers away, a small supermarket in Keratokampos, a slightly larger one in Kastri - it has everything you need and more than you would expect.

If you are looking for absolute peace and book the Vigla property, you have found the right place. The lack of sandy beach (many stones and rocks on the beach, but easily walkable with water shoes) and the lack of play opportunities for children ensure that there are no other tourists present. We stayed at the property for the 4th time in 2018. Our favorite tavern is the "Morningstar Tavern". Nik and Sophie (next to the Kriti Tavern). Great value for money.

We stayed in the rear house of the two holiday homes. We were greeted and shown around, even though it was already after 10:00 pm. The house is well-equipped and very clean. After 3 days of stay, it is cleaned and towels are replaced (this has never happened to us in a holiday home before)! The rear house offers a bit more privacy (unless the 2nd house is occupied by friends) and has a cozy corner with an olive tree providing shade. The description of the approach initially sounded quite dramatic, and we thought, "What have we chosen here?" However, the road has been newly asphalted 2 years ago (just like the surrounding coastal roads are in good condition), and the access is not a problem (from our point of view - we also have mountains close to home!).

It was the most beautiful and best cared for house we have ever rented on holiday. Very tastefully and high quality equipped. Every 3rd day the house is thoroughly cleaned and all the laundry changed by a very kind woman. The house manager is very concerned about the well-being of his guests and inquiries frequently if there are any problems, wishes, or questions. Directly from the sun terrace, we were in the sea in 2 minutes. We were happy to have taken the back house as we had a little more privacy there. If you occupy both houses with family or friends, it is unbeatable. Keratokampos is not very touristic. It is an ideal place to find peace, meet nice Greek people, hike, or visit many sights that do not require a long travel time.

Especially the sleeping loft of House Vigla deserves special mention. It is cozy and offers a nice quiet spot with its roof terrace. The nearby, almost solitary beautiful pebble beach also invited us to swim. However, bathing shoes should be brought along. If you don't want to cook in the well-equipped kitchen, you can visit the numerous good taverns in Keratokampos. Especially worth mentioning is the tavern "Morning Star", whose host cooks Greek dishes a la carte and also according to the guests' wishes. The nice landlord/manager with his great helpfulness also deserves great praise. A completely successful vacation! Suitable for people who love the still simple and wonderful south of Crete, a kilometer-long beach, a wide open sky from east to west, and tranquility. The house is perfectly furnished and completely surrounded by an incredibly large terrace with a view of the sea, just three minutes away. Manoli in the small village of Kastri, less than two kilometers away, has everything you need in his supermarket. And if you don't feel like cooking yourself, there are wonderful taverns in Keratokampos and Kastri with only local food. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful and love it when us tourists have picked up a few words of Greek. The house is surrounded by a wonderful and well-kept garden of flowers and shrubs, with large olive groves in the background. It is perfectly clean every time, and Mirella cleans it twice a week—quiet and unobtrusive. An absolutely perfect internet connection connects us guests with the rest of the world if we wish. The rear house Vigla is slightly offset from the house Armenopetra - both have their privacy.

For people seeking peace, far away from the tourist hustle and bustle, House Vigla is simply perfect. Location, facilities, and service, everything is right. We especially enjoyed sitting in the seating area under the olive tree and looking out to the sea. Of the taverns by the sea, we particularly liked the Taverna Kriti in Kastri. The Brisolakis family always has something delicious on offer, it's best to follow the chef's recommendations. There are two small supermarkets in the village. For major shopping, it's better to go to Heraklion or Jerapetra right away.

Yassu! We spent a very nice and quiet vacation in Keratokampos. The holiday house is well maintained and the conversations with Manoulis were very warm-hearted. The view from the terraces of the Libyan Sea is unique. For guests seeking tranquility, it is the perfect place. For a swim in the sea, bathing shoes are recommended as the beach is rocky. The taverns in Keratokampos and Kastri are simple but the food is very delicious!

The nearby, almost lonely, wonderful pebble sand beach was also inviting for a swim. However, bathing shoes should be brought along. If you don't want to cook in the well-equipped kitchen, you can visit the numerous good tavernas in Keratokampos. The taverna "Mornig (sic) Star", Morgenstern, is particularly worth mentioning here, whose landlord cooks according to the guests' wishes in addition to Greek cuisine a la carte. We spent two wonderful weeks in Keratokampos. The holiday home corresponded to the (promising) description and fulfilled all expectations - fantastic location, wonderful view, very good equipment, direct proximity to the deserted pebble beach, tavernas within walking distance (approx. 20-25 min.). The village itself can only be reached via many kilometres of serpentine roads; excursions across the island take time. Overall, only recommended!

Suitable for people who love the still simple and wonderful south of Crete, a kilometre long sea beach, a wide open sky from east to west and the peace and quiet.
The house is perfectly furnished and surrounded on all sides by an incredibly large terrace with a view of the sea three minutes away. Manoli in the village of Kastri, barely two kilometres away, has everything you need in its supermarket. And if you don't want to cook yourself for once - in Keratokampos and Kastri there are wonderful tavernas with only local food. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful and love it when we tourists pick up a few bits of Greek.
The house is surrounded by a wonderful and well-kept flower and shrub garden - with the large olive groves in the background. It is perfectly clean every time and Mirella cleans it twice a week - quietly and discreetly. An absolutely perfect internet connects us guests with the rest of the world, if we want it. The back house Vigla is slightly offset from the house Armenopetra - both have their privacy.

If you are looking for absolute peace and quiet and book the object Vigla in addition, you have found the right object. The lack of a sandy beach (many stones and rocks on the beach, which can be easily walked on with bathing shoes) and the lack of play facilities for children ensure that there are no other tourists. We stayed at the property for the 4th time in 2018.
Our favourite restaurant is the Taverna "Morningstar". Nik and Sophie (next to the taverna Kriti). Great value for money.

Beautiful cottage, perfect for people looking for peace and quiet. Super friendly welcome and care by the house owner on site, car absolutely necessary.

We stayed at Armenopetra for the fourth time this year and will be there for the fifth time in 2019. Ultimately, everything has already been written about this house and the second one, Vigla. Peace and quiet, breathing a sigh of relief from the perhaps stressful everyday life in our more northerly climes, the sea within two minutes' reach, an open horizon from east to west, the Milky Way in the sky at night. A few good tavernas barely two kilometres away, a small supermarket in Keratokampos, a somewhat larger one in Kastri - it has everything you need and more than you expect.

A beautiful, very well equipped house in a wonderful location, with a view of the sea, olive groves and mountains! An oasis of peace! We spent very relaxing days here, enjoying the wind and the waves on almost empty beaches, listening to the sea waves and the chirping of the cicadas at night, and gazing at the clear starry sky above us, all inclusive open-air overnight stay under the Milky Way with shooting stars and moonset over the sea. A dream! In Keratocampos/Kastri there are small supermarkets and cosy tavernas. Thank you, Emanuel, for the warm welcome and this beautiful place! Location: perfectly situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, 50 metres to the secluded beach of the still sleepy community of Keratokombos - almost at the end of the world. Extensive peace and quiet with gorgeous starry skies and absolute tranquillity. The house: tastefully and lovingly furnished house with perfect equipment, very good quality of stay in the house and on the terrace - you will always find enough shade. The fully equipped kitchen also makes it possible to cook menus. The ambience, the lighting during the day and the lighting in the house in the evening always make you feel comfortable - a perfect place to let go.

The house is in top condition, comfortably furnished, well maintained and in a wonderful location with a view of the sea. If you are looking for a house in a quiet location not far from the sea and a small fishing village with nice tavernas, you are in good hands here. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend it.

In this beautiful and tastefully furnished and well-equipped house Armenopetra with a great terrace and view over the Mediterranean planted, fenced property to the sea, we have once again spent wonderful days. The domicile is in a very quiet location at the end of Keratokampos and only a few steps away from the stony beach, for which aqua shoes are recommended. The location of the property is perfect for escaping mass tourism. Nice and amusing were always the conversations about God and the world with Manolis, the very good German speaking and extremely helpful landlord. Nearby, in Keratokampos and Kastri, there are several tavernas directly on the shore that offer delicious food. Excursions are possible to Ano Viannos, Mirtos, Ierapetra and the Lassithi plateau.
