Description

In the south of Crete near Triopetra with sweeping views of the Libyan Sea, the Petra Mare property with pool is set on a large, shared lawn. The name ‘Stone Sea’ refers to the main components of the property. Two solidly built stone semi-detached houses, another stone house with two flats and a detached house with a shared pool and wonderful sea views make up this beautiful property.

The semi-detached houses Petra Mare 1-4 are located at a distance of approx. 10 m from each other and approx. 40 to 60 m from the two-storey stone house with the holiday flats Petra Mare 5 and 6. The detached house Petra Mare 8 is located at the far left edge of the property, approx. 50 m from the pool. A large, enclosed, flat lawn and garden plot, overgrown with trees and plants of the Cretan flora surrounds the beautiful property Petra Mare. The approx. 50sqm large, oval and shared pool (approx. 5 x 10m and 1.20 to 1.80m deep, not heatable, in operation from 1.05.-31.10.) with sun loungers and parasols offers its small and large guests enjoyable bathing fun, relaxation and refreshment on some hot days.

The modernly furnished detached house Petra Mare 8 is located slightly offset, directly next to the half of the house Petra Mare 4, which is occasionally used by the landlord. Built at ground level, with a covered entrance terrace and direct access to the garden, the holiday home offers its guests a relaxing holiday. The spacious living/dining room is adjoined by the open-plan kitchen area. The living room leads to both bedrooms and the shared bathroom. Direct access from the living area to the ground-level, covered terrace, the garden and the pool.

What awaits you in this corner of the south coast of Crete is peace, seclusion, a Mediterranean, rural idyll, a charming coastal landscape, great sandy beaches and a very clean sea.

The nearest village, Akoumia, is approx. 10 km away and Spili, where you will find a wide range of shops, is just under 20 km away. There are several tavernas directly on the large Triopetra or larger Triopetra beach, approx. 2 to 2.5 km from the Petra Mare houses.

The equipment is outdated, something needs to be invested in, e.g. the oven. Otherwise, we felt very comfortable.

Wir haben 5 Wohnungen gebucht, weil wir so viele waren. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, alles ist wie beschrieben und der Pool ist sogar größer, als er auf den Fotos aussieht. Gute Sauberkeit und absolut zufriedenstellende Räume. Die Strände sind wirklich nah, es dauert 5/10 Minuten mit dem Auto, um sie zu erreichen Das einzige Problem ist, dass das Haus ein wenig isoliert ist, aber ich denke, es ist klar, wenn man bucht. Absolut zu empfehlen!

If you are looking for peace, you are exactly right here. Only a few other guests, even in high season. Sometimes you were even completely alone by the pool. The nearest beach is only 5 minutes away.

From year to year, the condition of the facility, especially the equipment of the houses, is unfortunately neglected. This is very unfortunate and will prevent us from making another booking after many years in the future.

The property is secluded and very quiet. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The apartment was functionally furnished, but the kitchen was a bit spartan. If you want to cook, you quickly reach the limits with pots, cutting board, and knives, for example. Given the many mosquitoes, the fly screens on the windows were very welcome. However, these were obviously installed afterwards, with the result that the shutters could no longer be closed. And since there were no opaque curtains either, it was very unpleasant in the darkness in the bedrooms. In the morning, you woke up very early because you were exposed to the sun early. This should be remedied, but not at the expense of the fly screens. Despite everything; the quiet location, the beautiful sea view, and the well-kept property resulted in a very nice holiday - anytime again!

jolie maison avec 5 couchages. A première vue, tout est bien mais ça c'est avant de vouloir utiliser les équipements. Quand nous sommes arrivés, la cuisine était disjonctée au niveau du compteur. nous avons vite compris pourquoi. Quand vous utilisez le four, tout disjoncte et il vous faut trouver le disjoncteur général à l'extérieur de la maison. N'attendez pas de votre hôte qu'il vous aide et lui faut 24h pour répondre. Attention ça disjoncte parfois avec la clim aussi. Mauvaise odeur dans les placards sous évier. Par contre, belle piscine propre avec transat La vue est très jolie et le jardin très beau. Une plage sympa a 4mns en voiture et un petit resto très bon à quelques minutes et c'est tout. Faites vos courses avant.
