Description

The TRIKORFO houses are situated on a beautiful, gently sloping hillside on a large lawn and garden property close to the sea, above the fine sandy Trikorfo bay on the western coast of the peninsula Sithonia.

Gnarled olive trees, tall palm and pine trees between the houses shade the area in hot summer days. The arrangement of the houses, either 2 or 3 next to each other, well separated, creates the impression of a small village. The complex is separated into two residential areas, one near the beach and the other approx. 350 meters from the beach on a small hill above the coast road. The lower part of the property is accessible via road underpass.

Tastefully and comfortably furnished junior panorma-maisonette, bathroom renovated in 2015 and complete renewal of the furniture in 2016. On the ground floor of the house there is the living/dining room with adjacent kitchen area and direct access to a covered terrace and the garden, 1 bedroom and the bathroom. A staircase leads to the closed bedroom in the 4x4 meter gallery in the pitched roof area above the living room. From the bedroom you can directly access a private patio with a beautiful view of the garden or the sea. The property has 2 basketball courts and 2 playgrounds. There is a Greek tavern just above the beach. The gently sloping beach is 350 meters away and can be reached via stairs or a ramp. Parasols and sunbeds are available at the beach for a fee. The owners are in charge of assigning the different houses. Laundry service is available for a fee. Child care can be arranged on request at extra cost. The tavern at the beach within the facility is open until 1st of October.

Very nice and cozy holiday home with all comforts. Maid service every 2-3 days. Very clean. 5-10 minutes to the beach. Small bay with sunbeds and umbrellas as well as catering! everyone very nice. Central location! Only downside: the pool was not in operation. Would have been ideal with the high temperatures in August and the location on the hill...

We had house number 28. The equipment and condition of the house were fine, the service exemplary (multiple changes of bed linen!). However, the double bed on the ground floor is very poor. You sleep poorly (bed squeaks unbearably) and eventually get significant back pain (mattress is hard). Nevertheless, a very nice holiday especially because of the beachfront location.

Our holiday home over 2 floors (not suitable for people with knee problems because of the rather steep staircase) in the well-kept Trikorfo complex was pleasantly quiet due to its location facing away from the busy street (definitely pay attention to the location of the house, otherwise it can get very loud!!), which made the walk down to the beach a bit longer (approx. 350m), but okay for us in our early fifties. Beds were good, mid-week linen change was pleasant. Kitchen equipment okay, but not so great for cooking for more people regularly, e.g. lacking a large salad bowl and only a 2-burner stove. Nice: dish soap and new sponges are provided, as well as samples of shampoo, shower gel, and lotion in the bathroom. Toilet trash is emptied daily (very pleasant). Small quiet bay without music blaring, clean, clear water, ideal for children as it is very shallow far out. Tavern above the bay offers many fish dishes, a bit more expensive but huge portions. Rental car is recommended as the immediate surroundings do not offer much, but there are beautiful destinations further away. We enjoyed our stay!

Everything was very nice so far. Clean, change of linen and cleaning service - everything worked out great. The house was adequately equipped with everything necessary, air conditioning was vital; it was very hot! Very nice German-speaking lady at the reception. Beautiful and quiet private beach with affordable catering under the sunshade! The food at the beach tavern is unfortunately not as good as in the surrounding villages/taverns. The only downside: The location of most available houses on the main road is quite loud. However, since you are mainly at the beach during the day and the air conditioning is running with closed windows at night, it is bearable... The small supermarket is only good for getting bread for breakfast - not far away, there is a larger supermarket where you can get everything your heart desires.

Nice and quiet own beach with inexpensive catering under the parasol! The food in the taverna on the beach is unfortunately not as good as in the surrounding villages/tavernas. The only drawback: the location of most of the available houses on the only road is very noisy. But since you are lying on the beach during the day and the air conditioning is running at night with the windows closed, this is bearable... The small supermarket is only good for fetching bread for breakfast - but not far away is a larger supermarket where you can get everything your heart desires.

Beds good, linen change in the middle of the week pleasant. Kitchen equipment o.k., but not so great for frequent cooking for more people, e.g. a large salad bowl is missing and there is only a 2 plate cooker. Nice: Dishwashing liquid and new sponges are available, also in the bathroom samples of shampoo, shower gel, lotion. Toilet bucket/waste emptied daily (very nice). Small quiet bay with no music, clean clear water, ideal for children as shallow far out. Taverna above the bay offers many fish dishes, a little more expensive, but huge portions. A rental car is recommended, as there is not much in the immediate vicinity, but there are nice destinations further away. We enjoyed our stay!

My wife, our two small children and I had a great holiday in Trikorfo. The beach and the sea are ideal for small children. It is very shallow and very quiet. In June, the temperatures were already very warm and we were in the sea every day. There is a small beach bar on the beach that is run by the taverna owner. So we were able to enjoy all the food on offer from the taverna on the beach. We got the umbrellas and sunbeds for free because we always had something to drink. The food from the taverna was very tasty and absolutely fair in price. We enjoyed eating classic Greek dishes here or having a fresh fish fried. The houses are very nice, especially the new bathroom and the beautiful wooden loungers. We didn't miss anything in the house or the lady from the reception brought it over immediately after we reported it. The cleaning lady was very attentive and thorough. In the mini-market we could get the most necessary things. A very well-stocked supermarket with a meat counter and a large selection of fruit and vegetables is 3 km away in the direction of Nikiti. In Nikiti there are many supermarkets (Lidl etc.) and a large selection of shops and tavernas. From Thessaloniki airport we drove a ¾ h to the house, which was top with the children. Our conclusion: an all-round successful holiday. We will gladly come again. Many thanks to Jassu Reisen for the tip and the smooth booking of the house, flight and rental car.
