The lovingly furnished and cosy holiday flat in country house style will be your domicile. The real wood furniture and the generously processed wood ensure a pleasant living climate. The Swedish stove provides a romantic ambience and cosy warmth in cold times. The spacious living room and bedroom leave nothing to be desired. It is rounded off by free Wi-Fi, a landline telephone and a satellite TV with integrated DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine and a Senseo coffee machine. You also don't have to worry about washing-up liquid, dishcloths and tea towels. The bathroom, which is for your exclusive use, has a shower, a toilet and a hand basin. Towels, bed linen and a hairdryer are provided free of charge. Altenstein is located on the Castle Road (German Castle Corner) in the Hassberge Nature Park. We are the junction of the historic cities of Bamberg, Coburg and Schweinfurt. Würzburg is also suitable for a day trip. The castle museum and castle ruins are 100 m away from the holiday flat. In 300 m distance you can refresh yourself on hot days in the Altensteiner outdoor swimming pool. Our panoramic view will remain in your memory and the romantic ambience of the illuminated castle ruin at night will enchant you. Several spas and thermal baths are located in the nearby surrounding area. The nature in and around Altenstein invites you to go hiking and cycling. Fans of castles and palaces will get their money's worth. Connoisseurs will also be spoilt, because to our right is the Lower Franconian wine country and to our left is the beer country of Upper Franconia, with the highest density of breweries in the world. Altenstein gets its drinking water from a spring in the Altensteiner Wald with very good drinking water quality.
