Les Chenes is ideal both for families and couples looking for a romantic get-away.
The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms and one bathroom is in the basement, with it's own entrance. This makes the place ideal for two families to share.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's a big BBQ grill at your disposal should you wish to dine on the terrace. The living room has two comfy sofas, and plenty of books and board games, should a night in strike your fancy.
A big terrace , where you can either relax in a cosy daybed or enjoy a meal at the bigger of of three dining areas around the property, overlooks the hilly landscape to the south. At the east side of the property, completely secluded, you'll find the pool with sun loungers and parasols. There are several sitting areas around the property, some in the shade, some more suitable for the sun seekers among us.

Location and surroundings of object
Bagnols-en-Foret is a typical small Provencal village with around 3000 inhabitants. A ten minute walk from the house you'll find a quaint main square with a few restaurants, bakery, a kiosk and a wine shop. A kilometre from from the house there's a Carrefour supermarket and a pharmacy. The beach is a 20 minute drive away, as is the TGV train station and the bigger towns of Saint Raphael and Frejus. Driving in the opposite direction you'll find towns like Fayence, Tourettes and Seillans. The Lac de Saint Cassien, with an array of water sports and other activities on offer is also a 20 min drive away. The entire area is ideal for hiking, with plenty of trails, with or without wine tasting stops at the many local vinyards. The Terre Blanche golf course is 9 kilometres away.

Love it.
I had a wonderful week there. It was during a heatwave so the pool was the place to be. The kitchen and the barbecue outside made dining in perfect. And the wine we got from wineries around in the area. With bedrooms enough for us all, nobody had to listen to my snoring. That made us all well rested.

Wonderful provencal paradise
We stayed here as a family in September and had such lovely days. The house is beautifully laid-back chic, the pool perfect size, and the terrace with the wonderful view invites you for an afternoon pastis. The town with bakery and well-assorted supermarket is within walking distance, and we took turns doing the fresh croissant run in the mornings. The beach and lots of charming villages and great restaurants are reachable within a short drive. Would recommend to friends!

Hi I'm Silje. Thanks for checking out my house. I live in Norway but have owned Les Chenes since 2015, and try to spend as much time as possible there. Luckily, I have excellent people on site and ready to help out my guests with whatever you might need. The house is my pride and joy and a place to be creative. I love the relaxed feeling of the village, the many high quality restaurants in the area and the fact that the place works just as well for a super relaxing vacation with a book by the pool, as an activity packed one. I've rented the house out ever since I bought it and have had returning guests every year. However, I just changed to this platform, hence no review yet.
