Holiday home 219
A dune house freshly renovated in spring/summer 2020 with space for 4 people in Bredene in the Zeewind II holiday park. This is located approx. 1.5 km from the beautiful, spacious beach.
The house has 2 bedrooms, living/dining area with kitchenette, 1 bathroom (completely new, with large shower 140 x 80 cm) and a separate toilet. 1 bedroom is equipped with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and the other bedroom with 2 single beds (90 x 200 cm).
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob and oven, as well as kitchen utensils such as a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender etc.
In the living area there is a dining table with 6 chairs, a comfortable sofa (with sleeping function) and a cosy armchair, and of course a TV set with satellite connection and a small music system (radio/CD/DAB connection).
In addition to night storage heating, there are electric radiators in all rooms
There is also a washing machine in the annex.
The garden is completely fenced. There is a table, sun chairs and a large parasol. The house is also equipped with an electric awning.

For leisure activities, a (swimming pool in the main season), tennis courts and a playground are available to our guests free of charge.
A cosy restaurant (Brasserie Duinenhoeve) is also located in the park.
Other cafés and restaurants are located in the village and can be reached in a few minutes on foot

The holiday home is not far from the sea. Ostend and De Haan are only 4 km away, and you can easily walk along the beach.
On the way there are also nice restaurants where you can stop for a bite to eat. There is also a walking path or a jogging path between the dunes.
Places of interest along the Belgian coast are easily accessible by tram, such as Ostend, Middelkerke, de Panne, Koksijde, De Haan, Wenduine, Blankenberge, Knokke. These places can also be reached by car or by train. You can also visit the beautiful old towns like Brugge, Ghent or Veurne. For cycling enthusiasts, there are also very beautiful cycle routes leading through the interior of the country. You can find more information in our house folder.

Foul-smelling bedroom and strange communication
The house is richly equipped with details, even though the furniture is rather of lower standard in comparison. But the kitchen lacks nothing, and the shower is top-notch. There are larger plots and also more discreet gardens in the park, but that didn't really hurt us in the fall. For that, you can practically watch your children on the playground from the bedroom window if you have any. The small bedroom smelled musty and could only be used with the window fully open, and the chair covers were dirty. The communication regarding this with the landlord couple was strange. The rental agreement contained contradictory clauses, as one was to cover the final cleaning oneself, even though a hefty amount had been charged to us in advance for it. The same for water consumption. We were asked twice after our return to provide a review for another property of the landlord couple, namely Zeebos 24. And now, after almost three weeks, I inquired about the status of the security deposit refund. Quote from the landlord: [ ] . . . We are currently on vacation and do not have time for this at the moment . . . [ ]. We are curious if we will ever see the deposit again after this open and honest review.

Vacation in Bredene
We were now the 4th time again in this great holiday home. The house has very good amenities. CLASS also, is the free internet. The location is also very good. You can reach the beach by car in about 5 minutes. There you can park for free. FOR SHOPPING, you can also quickly reach Lidl or others by car. We are already looking forward to next year. Thank you very much.

Sunny vacation in beautiful house
We had a sunny week in this house, everything is available for a nice vacation. The room with the double bed had mattresses that were too soft for me. I found it somewhat difficult to read the two electricity meter units, as it was not easy to distinguish between the day and night meters. This was different in all other houses so far. Communication went smoothly. We will definitely come back again.

Relaxing vacation
The house is well furnished, we felt very comfortable there. The weather allowed us to also use the terrace. Here, the electric awning was of great benefit. The washing machine also ensured that we hardly took any dirty laundry back home. We would love to be guests at the house again next year.
