Children's Paradise

We were actually just looking for a vacation home that was big enough for two very active grandchildren, their parents, and us as grandparents. What we found was a real children's paradise. Moni (Monika Forrer, the landlord) is the good spirit here with a big heart for children: outings to the nearby farm/riding stable, helping to clean the rabbit hutch, taking the cuddly neighbor dog for a walk—everything with Moni, almost like family connection. Carla, the very capable daughter, to play with. Everything on a quiet residential street, ideal for playing badminton. The house spacious, fully equipped, and spotlessly clean. Plenty of play equipment including scooters and children's bicycles in the garden shed. Large lawn in front of the house for playing.
And when it had played out in the evening, a little fire in the garden fireplace for the adults, with a cool glass of wine. Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay in this holiday home! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The house is lovingly furnished, very clean, and offers everything you need for a relaxing family vacation. The family atmosphere was particularly nice – you can immediately tell that this place is run with a lot of heart. Our children were thrilled with the farm experience: feeding animals, playing in the straw, and simply having plenty of space to play and explore. For us parents, it was wonderful to see how much joy the children had in nature. At the same time, we could enjoy the peace and really unwind. A perfect vacation

Dear Moni,

thank you very much for the wonderful vacation week with you in Elferdingen.
The holiday home is quietly and idyllically situated, which we greatly appreciate.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a spacious, spotlessly clean vacation residence, and it smelled of fresh laundry, simply delightful.

The amenities are perfect and leave nothing to be desired. We have never experienced anything like this before.
Drinks were provided for us in the fridge, simply great. The holiday home has a well-maintained garden with a terrace, grill, fire bowl, and play opportunities. We were taken by your throwing game, which was used every evening and provided plenty of fun. Everything is available, from the charcoal for the grill to the firewood.

The accommodation offers a great starting point for activities. The Walsrode Bird Park, the Serengeti Park, or the Heide Park Soltau, everything is located nearby. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the cinema in Walsrode is highly recommended.

Overall, we had a perfect vacation with a wonderful accommodation, great nature, and on top of that, Moni, who is so warm and loving. We felt really comfortable.

If we head north again, we will gladly come back. We will think fondly of the beautiful time for a long time.

The best accommodation

The house is very quietly located, spacious, harmoniously furnished, clean, and offers everything one needs in everyday life - really everything.
The kitchen has all utensils, bathroom with shower & bathtub, guest toilet, washing machine & dryer including drying rack as well as ironing board & iron, etc. . . .

The Forrer family is indescribably nice and the little mouse is incredibly sweet. Very, very helpful, courteous, warm-hearted, and so on. . . One cannot express it in words; one must experience Moni & Family live. ?

We hardly give any movements away, but the Forrer family truly deserves to be positively rated with the best stars from the heart. ?

Like home

We can really only rave about the vacation apartment. Everything is provided - the children were supplied with all kinds of toys, the kitchen is excellently equipped, and every room has everything you need to be happy.
The surroundings are quiet and invite relaxation, but you can reach all kinds of parks and activities in no time at all. It couldn't be better!
There's also a nice landlord with her family, just everything perfect. We would love to come back again!

Great holiday accommodation

Arrival (we came from Bavaria) was difficult,
but the holiday there was perfect.
The holiday home is a dream.
Rooms are great, garden is great, and the bathroom - superb!
My girls (children), if they had the money, would buy this house right away.
Hostess Mrs. Forrer is very sympathetic and warm in our memory.
She was there for wishes and questions.

That was fantastic!

We spent the extended Pentecost weekend in this house with 5 people and we can say: it was fantastic!

The holiday home is very well equipped and we didn't miss anything. Even chilled drinks were available.

The landlady is a lovely person and very hospitable. We felt completely comfortable.

The location of Elferdingen is quiet. We got bread rolls every morning from the neighboring village and otherwise the location is perfect for many day trips.

We would book the house again anytime.

The best holiday home we ever had

First of all, we would like to thank you, dear Moni, from the bottom of our hearts for your warmth and hospitality. You are a kind-hearted person and we felt completely comfortable. We will definitely come back.

Now to the holiday home and its location.
The location is perfect for many excursions. Everything is reachable in a short amount of time. We traveled as a family (3 people).
All the amusement parks are definitely worth a visit (Heidepark, Serengeti Park, Magic Park, Vogelpark, Erse Park).
A trip to the cities Hamburg, Hannover, or Bremen is also recommended (about 50 minutes to 1 hour driving time).

The village of Elferdingen is quietly located. Shopping facilities can be reached in a few minutes by car (about 6 minutes).

The holiday home itself is simply a dream.
We didn't miss anything. There were even small attentions with cold drinks. The washing machine and dryer also make a longer stay very pleasant (especially for me as a mom ?.)
Everything was very clean and fully equipped. There was a lot of toys for our daughter. There was even a sandbox with sand toys. But there were also bubbles of all kinds from Moni ?.

We will definitely come back, dear Moni.

Very nice vacation.

My wife and I spent our summer vacation in the holiday home of the Forrer family. The house was absolutely clean and equipped with everything you could wish for. Drinks and ice cream were even provided in the fridge. Furthermore, the house has a very beautiful garden with a covered seating area, a grill, and a fire pit that you can use on colder evenings. Landlady Monika was always available to answer our questions and she helped us a lot with some tips. She also allowed us to visit the nearby stables. Dream holiday for the whole family

In addition to perfectly equipped and very clean accommodation, we experienced something here that is not commonplace - cordiality, helpfulness, attention to detail and big children's eyes - in short, Monika! That's how vacations should be

In the holiday house you will find everything you need for a nice vacation. Everything is clean, very good beds (mattresses) and a beautiful garden invite you to relax and rest. The hosts are very very nice and there is no lack of anything. We were provided with coal, wood, drinks and whatever was available. Everything is there and can be used. Our 3 children were very excited.

If something is missing, just ask. It won't take 10 minutes :-). Moni will take care of it.

There is nothing to complain about here and we will definitely come back.

Holiday 2022

This year we spent our annual vacation in the Lüneburg Heath in the vacation home of Frau Forrer and her family.
It was a beautiful, generously furnished and large house with a cozy garden that we unfortunately didn't use enough. We had two children, aged 6 and 12, with us. There was plenty of toys for the little one, and the older one loved the nearby farm.
Excursion destinations are easily and quickly reachable. We can only recommend this house, and everything you need is available. Many thanks to the Forrer family and greetings from the children who would love to come back.

We had a wonderful time in the very well-kept and incredibly equipped holiday home. There is really nothing missing in this house. A well-equipped and super clean holiday home that leaves nothing to be desired. Apart from clothes to wear, you simply don't need to bring anything. Everything is really there.

The holiday home is centrally located but in a quiet area, so you can easily reach all attractions in the area without long driving times.

The garden is very well maintained. There are toys for children indoors and outdoors.

Beautiful short break for the whole family

We spent a long weekend in May at the Forrer family's holiday home. The house is very well-maintained and fully equipped. Nothing is missing. All rooms are very clean and lovingly furnished. Drinks (water, beer, 1 bottle of sparkling wine) are even provided for the first days. Additionally, the kitchen is fully equipped (including coffee/tea, spices, various foods). An array of games for both adults and children ensure that boredom is not an issue. We didn't use the garden due to the weather, but everything you need is there.
Special thanks to the friendly Landlady who took care of everything. We can wholeheartedly recommend the house.

This is exactly what one imagines a vacation should be like!

The vacation at the Forrer family's was a dream. It was exactly as described. The rural location is perfect for peace and relaxation. In front of the house on the adjacent meadow, the horses roam, and behind the house, the sheep. Although rural, everything is reachable in a short time and distance (bird park, Serengeti Park, Hamburg, etc.). The family is very, very warm and helpful. Here, you feel welcome! The house is large and equipped with everything you need. It is very, very clean and well-maintained. You can tell there is a lot of passion behind it. The large garden and terrace invite you to linger. There is also care provided for young children. Everything there is very well-maintained and clean as well. The garden is fenced so that no child can wander off. We were there with 2 adult children who still felt very comfortable. A holiday that was a complete success for us with a great feel-good factor. Short break for the whole family

We went on vacation as a family of 5 for the first time. The 3 children are 13, 4, and 3 years old.

The Forrer family's holiday home is a dream. Everything is tip-top clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped, from an egg cooker to a blender, everything is there. Furthermore, there are plenty of towels, and the beds are already made up and ready. The garden is comfortably laid out, with a covered seating area, grill (charcoal and fire starter also available), and even a fire bowl.

In the house, there is also a variety of toys for different age groups. In the garden shed, you will also find a trampoline and more outdoor toys for the children.

The highlight for the children were, of course, the horses. They were even sometimes directly in front of the house on the meadow. Family Forrer is a super friendly and nice family, we felt very comfortable right away. We will definitely spend another vacation there :-)

Therefore, the vacation home is highly recommended with all the amenities.

Cozy winter holiday

We spent Christmas and New Year 21/22 in the house of the Forrer family. The large semi-detached house offers everything that families - even with young children - need. It is furnished and equipped homely like a home. From toys to strollers, from spices to loving extras, everything was available. Everything was very clean - keeping the house so tidy proves the great passion of the landlord. The small settlement offers a very beautiful and peaceful environment with agriculture and forest. The pleasant and open residents of the area, as well as the proximity to other villages, matched exactly our expectations. Even before our arrival, we were very dedicatedly taken care of. All-around Carefree Package

The spacious, clean, and very well-equipped holiday home, in combination with our attentive, helpful, and friendly landlady, made the vacation a pleasant experience for us two parents and our three children. Nothing was missing. Even in bad weather, lighting the fireplace or turning on the huge television in the living room makes you forget about time in the house. A nearby horse riding stable offers the opportunity to go horseback riding. By car, you can quickly reach shopping opportunities, nice restaurants, or the famous Serengeti Park. Traumhafter Urlaub

We were able to spend a few wonderful days here. The house offers everything you need and you don't miss anything. Plus, it was really clean. The landlords were friendly and super nice to us, and our daughter had the opportunity to feed chickens and horses on the nearby farm and collect the eggs of the chickens. Anyone looking for relaxation and an all-inclusive package will be more than satisfied here. The landlady takes wonderful care, especially of the little guests. From feeding rabbits and chickens to riding and leading horses, children's eyes shine every day. The house with garden leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. We spent a long weekend with 3 small children and 3 adults in the great holiday home of Monika. The house was very clean and we lacked nothing. I have never found such good equipment in a holiday home before. Even a bottle of sparkling wine, other drinks, spices, toys, and more were available. The host showed us everything and immediately made sure that the sockets were fitted with safety guards at crawling height for our youngest child. Completely satisfied

We stayed with our three grandchildren in Mrs. Forrer's vacation home during the autumn holidays and can only recommend this accommodation. The landlady is very friendly and helpful and even stocked the fridge for us. Our grandchildren were allowed to help out on the adjacent farm and feed the animals.
The vacation home is spacious and lovingly decorated, so one immediately feels a bit at home. The farm itself is a bit off the beaten path, making it pleasantly quiet and allowing children to move around freely. Attractions like the Serengeti Park or the Bird Park can be reached by car within a few minutes.

We can highly recommend the house, farm, and surroundings without reservation and will definitely come back ourselves.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus

We spent a wonderful holiday here as a family with 3 children in October. The house is in extremely good condition. The furnishings seem to be completely new and modern, the bathroom with a large corner tub and the fireplace made relaxation easy for us. Everything is super clean! There is a TV in each bedroom (a huge one in the living room). We almost had a hotel feeling because the beds were all made when we arrived, fresh towels were available, drinks in the fridge, etc. The location is beautiful and perfect for many outings. We did something every day, but also enjoyed the coziness and generosity of the house. All-around great. The landlady lives next door and is very prompt in addressing any questions or concerns. We were with our 4 children in this holiday home and were totally surprised to find that there were already groceries and drinks in the house. Mrs. Forrer warmly welcomed us and showed us everything. Fantastic holiday in a fantastic holiday home in a fantastic location!

When we arrived at our holiday destination, the landlady welcomed us very warmly. We were completely overwhelmed by the furnishings of the holiday home, its well-maintained, stylish, and clean condition, and the range of food on offer. There was nothing missing! There is a beautiful barbecue area with a fire pit and firewood. The garden is ideal for families with children as it has a sandbox and is completely fenced in, allowing the children to move around freely. The available sunbeds and hammock are great for relaxation. Mrs. Forrer provided toys for our son, a ball pit for the little ones, a high chair, a stroller, a fully equipped cot, changing pad, and much more! Our children immediately felt comfortable. In the very well-equipped kitchen, we found everything we needed. Starting with a huge selection of spices, pasta, sparkling wine, drinks, coffee, soups, trash bags, dishwasher tabs, various cleaning agents, etc. Towels, bed linen were provided, as well as a washing machine and a dryer. The holiday home is very quietly located, yet centrally. We did a lot with our children. Hamburg is only an hour's drive away and invites you to a day trip. Soltau with its amusement park is reachable in 20 km, the Walsrode World Bird Park and Serengeti Park Hodenhagen are not far away. You can go cycling just as well as swimming on hot summer days. The leisure activities are really great, and even in bad weather, there are opportunities for outings. Mrs. Forrer even made it possible for our little son to feed the animals on the farm, as well as the rabbits, and our older son was allowed to take a short ride on the horses. We are very grateful to the Forrer family for their efforts and helpfulness. We have taken them very close to our hearts and will come back soon.

Super Ferienhaus

We spent a wonderful week at the Elferdingen house. The holiday home is very spacious, excellently furnished, and absolutely clean and well-maintained. The house has a small garden with a grill, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The cities of Celle, Lüneburg, and Soltau are easily reachable by car and definitely worth a day trip. Our children had a lot of fun, especially with the animals on the adjacent farm. Overall, it was a completely successful holiday. Thanks again to the Forrer family for the warm welcome and pleasant service.

Super nice holiday home in a top location!

It was a very nice week in the holiday home. You can easily reach many cities and go for nice walks. The landlady is super nice and everything is clean and tidy. Would definitely rent it again 100%.

Beautiful weekend

We spent a long weekend at Haus Elferdingen. The house is freshly renovated, very clean, and lovingly decorated. Everything was thought of, from the complete kitchen equipment to the pantry stocked with even tissues. Mrs. Forrer is a friendly and considerate host. We felt very comfortable in her house and would love to come back. Angela P.

Absolutely beautiful!!!

We have stayed in various holiday homes before, but Haus Elferdingen blew us away. The house shines with cleanliness. Everything you need for a vacation is provided! The house is decorated with a lot of attention to detail. In the kitchen, quality cutlery and dishes were not spared, and everything was there. Upon prior inquiry about a small stock of spices in the house, it was confirmed. When we arrived at the house, we were completely overwhelmed by the variety (food and drinks in the cabinets + welcome sparkling wine in the fridge, trash bags, cleaning rags, etc.). In the garden, there is a barbecue, a fire pit with wood, plenty of chairs, and even a hammock. Mrs. Forrer takes very loving care of her guests. There was extra toys for the sandbox, and even the Forrer family provided their own toys to our son. A tour to Ochsen Hansi, the morning greeting of the horses, and feeding them was also made possible for us by Frau Forrer.
It's a shame that we had to leave early, but school comes first ;-).
We wish the Forrer family a successful year and hope to see you again.

A great stay.

The house has been completely renovated and is in great condition. It had everything one could need, and there was even a fire pit available for a cozy campfire. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could wish for. The bathroom with a bathtub was simply fantastic, and there was also a guest toilet available. It's great that towels are included, as well as firewood. The garden has also been newly landscaped and is beautiful. There you can also enjoy the morning and evening sun wonderfully or have your meals at the garden table.
The Forrer family is extremely courteous and friendly. We got along great right away.
The location of the house is also very beautiful. Everything is easily accessible and yet it's an idyllic place.
We liked it so much that we would love to come back in the near future. PS: The pictures hanging in the apartment particularly caught my eye.

All in all, highly recommended.
