Peace and relaxation are guaranteed here.

We were there together for a week in September. The location is very beautiful and also quiet. Jumping straight from the terrace into the water and swimming, or just lazily sitting on the covered outdoor terrace with a cold beer. Those plagued by stress will find their peace here. Very nice landlords who are always helpful with advice and assistance if desired and without being intrusive. The house is completely secured with fly screens on the windows, although there were hardly any mosquitoes at all. The furnishings provide everything needed for daily needs, from a dishwasher to a coffee maker, etc. Everything was clean and well-maintained. You can safely store and lock your personal bicycles in a room. The landlord also offered us two from his collection, but we didn’t need them. The pedal boat can be used free of charge, and fishing is also allowed from the terrace. The Weser dyke can be reached in about one to two minutes by bike, and there are also restaurants in the area. We felt very comfortable and welcome and can give a clear recommendation.

House by the Lake

We always wanted to go to a house by the lake. The weather was really great, so we could perfectly watch the birds on the terrace and enjoy the lake. I found it cool from 16 degrees onwards. The loungers were too sunny for us. The outdoor terrace was also very sunny but nice with a parasol. The bathing jetty and the pedal boat are a great offer. Where can you get that for such a great rental price? On the first day, sawing was done outside... Mowed the lawn around the lake all morning and afterwards. The mower is in the bike shed of the chalet. I sat on the terrace and felt the exhaust fumes from the mower. I would have liked to be informed beforehand. After that, it was very quiet. The living room is cozy and bright. You can't stay long in the rooms. It's too dark, too cramped, and too warm in summer. We didn't like the windows, but for the price, you put up with it. The house had everything you need. Old-fashioned maybe... but that's a matter of taste. I would recommend it since the rental price is unbeatable!

A small pearl in the vast ocean

In April we spent a week at the Chalet on Erlensee. We were looking for peace and relaxation and found it. The location by the small Erlensee and especially the terrace(s) are a dream. The booking was quick, nice, and uncomplicated. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and were very happy about the "little welcome on the dining table." We felt welcome from the beginning. Everything we needed was available in terms of equipment. The Wi-Fi was excellent. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the "much too short" week. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

Vacation at Erlensee

The complete package was just perfect!! Super nice landlords, the location is a dream. Closer to the water would be in the water. Simply perfect for us!! One can enjoy absolute peace and quiet, but it is also not too far from Bremerhaven.

A beautiful, peaceful and relaxing week as a family.

We went as a family and felt comfortable, everything is made with love. Great landlords. The location is good, everything can be reached by car, swimming pool, Bremen, outlet. We will definitely come back.

Pure relaxation!

Recreational holiday

We have had a relaxing week. Everything you need is there. We have never had such a well-kept house, inside and outside. Inside it is very comfortably furnished, with all the little things that are everywhere. And outside you have a super nice and big terrace. And then this view of the lake with all its animals is just beautiful. The reason given by Fam. Lenz was very friendly. If something should be wrong, you can always come to them. They also gave us good suggestions for eating out and sightseeing, which we put into practice.
The presence of what was on the table in the kitchen is not a matter of course. We were very happy about that and thanked them very much for it.
All in all we had a very relaxing holiday there, we will definitely go there again and again.
For anyone who loves nature and tranquillity, it is exactly the right place

Cute cottage directly on the lake

We have already spent several holidays in the holiday home. You have everything you need. Kitchen, bathroom, garage, terrace with furniture, bicycles, bed linen, TV, Wi-Fi, nothing is missing. We have spent one or two weeks at Lake Erlensee every year for 4 years. There is nothing better than looking out over the lake in the morning while having breakfast and watching the animals. The landlords are also very warm people. You can go to them with any problem, should there be one, and everything will be solved. You can easily explore the surrounding area by bike or by car you can be in Oldenburg or Bremen in no time. We will definitely come back again and again. Thank you for everything! Family Rönz

Super quiet, super nature, super great!!!

The weather unfortunately left something to be desired, but you can't blame anyone for that! Nevertheless, we could always be on the covered terrace, drink our wine and enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the coot/ducks on the lake. It was great that Mr. and Mrs. Lenz brought us a forgotten bicycle lock key all the way to Nordenham, thank you again! The cottage has everything you need, even various spices! All in all, super good, we will definitely come again, dear family Lenz!

Holiday home Chalet at Lake Erlensee. Wonderful.

My wife and I have holidayed all over Germany and in many other parts of Europe, some good, some not so good, but this beautiful log cabin style chalet right on the Erlensee was outstanding, meeting all the requirements and more. We spent a wonderful two weeks in this idyllic marshland area. The house is situated in a beautiful area on a strip of land with small lakes and rivers and is a perfect place for cycling, fishing, swimming, (bicycles are available free of charge, as well as a pedal boat) If you want peace and quiet, then this is the place for you. However, after a short bike ride or by car, there are excellent restaurants and many supermarkets where you can get good food and do your shopping. Afterwards you can return to your holiday home and relax by the water and watch the different species of ducks . In the evening we sat under the covered terrace and ate our dinner, had a glass of wine and enjoyed the view. The house is spotlessly clean, everything is spotless and there is everything you could need including binoculars, patches, torches and all the little things you might need. A fully equipped kitchen. Our beds were comfortable and nice and clean, and all the windows had fly nets. We had absolutely no problems with mosquitoes during our stay.
The owners our hosts Peter and Brigitte Lenz made sure our stay was perfect, we didn't need anything. We had a wonderful holiday and can highly recommend this holiday home.

Super great vacation

We spent the 1st week as guests in this great and relaxing chalet by the lake. Super nice contact with Mrs. and Mr. Lenz. Great destinations for excursions, also with children. But also anglers won't miss out here, many fishing opportunities all around, at a good price with daily or weekly permits. We can only recommend a vacation at Erlensee with the Lenz family, we felt very comfortable and would also like to come back in the summer so that the lake can be used for swimming.

A paradise by the lake

Top location, very well equipped, beautiful chalet, many excursion possibilities, super nice landlords (on site), very good value for money, gastronomic variety with culinary delights (for those who don't want to cook).
If you are looking for pure relaxation in an incomparable idyll with great possibilities, this is the place for you. This beautiful paradise leaves nothing to be desired and also keeps its promises. In short, just a DREAM !!!
We have been there several times already and will of course come back.
Those who like to visit Christmas markets are also in good hands there during Advent. Very nice markets in the area (Bremen, Oldenburg).

Pure relaxation in nature.

Thank you very much to P. and B. Lenz for this beautiful chalet on Lake Erlensee. We have now spent our summer vacation here for the seventh time.
You immediately feel comfortable in the lovingly furnished and decorated house.
From here you can start excursions with the available bicycles or your own. The Weser Cycle Path runs directly along the Weser dike. Or you can explore nearby cities such as Oldenburg, Bremen, Bremerhaven or Cuxhaven. The chalet is even a starting point for a trip to the North Sea.
However, we spend our time at the chalet. Sitting on the covered terrace or the private jetty and enjoying the peace of nature. Taking the pedal boat across the lake or cooling off with a swim in the lake. Everything is at your feet. Even fishing from the jetty is allowed.
We can only say, book it and experience it for yourself. We are looking forward to being here again next year.

Simply amazing

Unfortunately, we were only there for 3 days. But we have never seen anything so beautiful. Everything you need was really available. A great chalet where you can really feel at home. You could explore the lake with a boat, bicycles were also available. Sitting outside and having a great view was simply beautiful. We will come back in August. It is already booked for next year as well. You simply have to experience something so beautiful.
