The accommodation, designed for small groups or 2-3 families, is located in the Schifferstadt Alsleben directly on the cycle path to the house was renovated and handed over in January 2020. The bedrooms face the courtyard or towards Burgstrasse (passage for residents only), so the location can be described as quiet. In addition to the 5 bedrooms (), 3 bathrooms, 1 small living room with kitchenette and 2 extra beds and a 21 sqm kitchen are available in the holiday home. The bicycle garage is located in the courtyard, where the terrace is also located. Sitting furniture and barbecue are available. In addition, 1-2 cars can be parked covered and locked, in front of the house are 5 parking niches. . You can cycle through the Lower Saale Valley Nature Park in the direction of the Elbe or Halle. We are also happy to organise a guided tour of Bernburg or a boat trip on the Saale.

Putzaktion
First action, the kitchen had to be cleaned. It was totally dirty and sticky. We couldn't use the kettle and stove (they were completely dirty and there were still fries inside). All the dishes had to be washed and the cabinets and drawers had to be wiped out. There was mouse droppings everywhere in the rooms and in one room behind the couch, there was a mouse corpse. In the evening, a mouse also ran through the kitchen. The landlord was very nice on the phone and said he would refund the money for the final cleaning. However, it took two more calls, and we only received 55 € back. It was very rude considering the effort we put in. We cannot recommend this accommodation. The location and surroundings are very pleasant.

Great accommodation for families
The accommodation in Alsleben an der Saale is perfect for 3 families. The mix of old and new gave the house a special charm. In the backyard of the house you could barbecue and sit outside with the children. Only the stairs in the house and outside were a bit dangerous for the kids, but you had to be careful. There was a second kitchen, but it was very poorly equipped. If you are planning separate holidays with self-catering, the kitchen is almost unusable. But the main kitchen has almost everything ready, except *boards and several knives ;) There is a high chair for the kids and unfortunately there were also ants in the kitchen, which the owner will surely take care of soon!
All in all, we had a great time and would always love to come back, as Alsleben has a great playground and is like an enchanted town.

Almost perfect
Four of us stayed in this house for a week. There is enough space for everyone and also the possibility to retreat from time to time. The location of the house couldn't be better, as both the Saale cycle path and the Saale run right in front of the house. There is a seating area at the house where you can have a barbecue. Unfortunately, the kitchen equipment (very little cookware and cutlery available) was very problematic and therefore the point deduction. It is very positive to note that there is a contact person on site and also the landlord himself reacted to our complaints
We would definitely spend another holiday here.

Pure relaxation - we will gladly come again
If you are looking for something for a family reunion or a group of up to 10 people, this is the place for you! It is ideally suited for this due to its five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It also has a cosy kitchen-living room that can be used for communal meals, game nights or the like. Parking bicycles and cars is not a problem. On the terrace there is the possibility to spend the evenings outdoors or to enjoy a delicious dinner at the barbecue. A tip for this - about 200 metres away is the Kipper butcher's shop, which still produces its own meat and where we were able to buy the most delicious pork and beef steaks, lamb salmon, various delicacies made from turkey or chicken meat and a variety of fried sausages. Right next door is the bakery for the daily fresh rolls for breakfast. In the village there is also a Penny supermarket within walking distance and an Edeka with a drinks market about 1 km away. For hot days, you can use a beautiful small outdoor swimming pool in the village. The entrance fee for the whole day for one adult person is an absolute bargain and amounts to 3 euros. We met very friendly and helpful people in Alsleben and the surrounding area. We extensively tested the cycle paths along the Saale in all directions. It should be noted that they are very idyllic, mostly run directly along the Saale, have little traffic and are often shady. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the nature very much. The refreshment stops along the cycle path are also highly recommended. In the immediate vicinity we visited the castles of Plötzkau or Bernburg, which lie directly on the cycle path. Further recommendations: Bernburg zoo and adventure pool. The communication with the landlord was also very friendly and reliable.
