The first floor of the former grist mill was converted into a holiday flat in 2008/2009. The design took into account the preservation of the old mill furnishings. This resulted in a very unique character, comparable to a loft flat.
You use the large room as a cooking, dining and living area. They sleep in a separate room with a connection to the bathroom. In a corner between old mill machines there is a small desk for you to do your correspondence.
The flat is heated by a pellet stove, which provides a pleasant warmth and illuminates the flat wonderfully in the evening hours.
Behind the Kaisermühle you can use the meadow for barbecuing or relaxing.

From the north, south or east: Take the A65 motorway from Karlsruhe or Neustadt/Ludwigshafen to the Landau Nord exit. There, take the B10 in the direction of Saarbrücken/Pirmasens until Annweiler West. Leave the B10 at Annweiler West and follow the old B10 to Sarnstall. In Sarnstall turn left towards Lug. After 2 km you will reach the Kaisermühle.
From the west: Take the A8 motorway to Pirmasens, then follow the B10 in the direction of Landau/Karlsruhe to Annweiler West. Leave the B10 at Annweiler West and follow the old B10 to Sarnstall. In Sarnstall turn left towards Lug. After 2 km you will reach the Kaisermühle. The Kaisermühle is detached. You live in the middle of a wild and romantic valley surrounded by mountains. Here you can enjoy a variety of leisure activities in this wonderful nature: Hiking, jogging, mountain biking, climbing on the red sandstone rocks or simply strolling through nature. The nearest village with bakery, butcher's shop and gastronomy is one kilometre away. The nearest town is Annweiler am Trifels with the amenities of a typical small town (cinema, swimming pool, pharmacy, railway station, supermarkets, doctors, etc.) only four kilometres away.
From the Kaisermühle you can reach the German Wine Route in 10 minutes by car or Landau or the Dahner Felsenland in 15 minutes. Alsace is also within easy reach (approx. 25 minutes by car).

Quaint mill flair
We were able to spend a wonderful hiking weekend in the Palatinate.
The Kaisermühle holiday flat is cosy and perfectly equipped. Everything was clean and the landlords are very hospitable.
