Description
The historic thatched-roof country house enchants from the first moment with its cosy charm and is really "hygge" (Scandinavian for "cosy/secure"). The spacious kitchen/living room with a wood-burning stove and lots of historical furnishings is one of the most popular meeting places. But also the light-flooded living room, where the sun shines in in the afternoon until the evening hours, is a nice retreat. The garden with its old trees and beautiful fruit trees invites you to linger

The country house is situated on a very quiet side road between meadows and fields. The Schlei is about 8 minutes away by car, the Baltic Sea about 20 minutes.

| Cancellation conditions Ferienlandhaus If you withdraw from the contract, the landlord is entitled to demand reasonable compensation The compensation is calculated as follows: - from receipt of the 1st instalment until 80 days before arrival: 10% of the rental price (min. 95,-€), - 79 days to 40 days before arrival: 25% of the rental price (min. 95,-€), - 39 days to 14 days before arrival: 80% of the rental price (min. 95,-€), - from 13 days before arrival: 90% of the net rental price (min. 95,-€). The landlord will try to re-let the holiday home (if necessary at a reduced price). Any resulting rental income will of course be offset and would reduce the compensation demanded. The notice of withdrawal must be given in writing to the landlord. Special clause due to the Corona pandemic If the rental object cannot be rented out due to legal, official or other requirements (travel restrictions) because of the Corona pandemic, no compensation will be due and any deposits made will be refunded at 100%. |

Gestank
From the outside nice, from the inside not so much... Mold/moisture smell that didn't improve despite airing out. The bedroom wall was swollen from the moisture. Cobwebs and critters etc. were included. In the fridge, grapes, rotten potatoes, and an empty beer can. Feeling comfortable is different...hence left after 1 night. Landlord did not respond to photos...very unfortunate...

Relaxation
The house is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy life. It has been lovingly renovated and has retained its historical flair. It also has great furnishings and every comfort you could wish for. Our favourite place to spend time was in the kitchen, it is very cosy and has great light, and the fireplace makes it pleasantly warm on cool days. There is also a large garden with old trees. The area is quiet, you have distance to the next house, but we even met some nice neighbours. From there, you can quickly reach the interesting excursion destinations on the Schlei, or simply go for a walk across fields or into the nearby woods. We enjoyed the week very much and can highly recommend the house.

Perfect place for a relaxing vacation
We had a wonderful week in this great vacation home. The house is very quiet. The surroundings are fantastic, and the house is beautiful. Absolutely recommended!

Traumurlaub
I cannot remember ever staying in a more beautiful place than this country house. It has its own romantic charm, which the landlords have prepared with a lot of love for detail and design. We (4 adults, 1 baby) felt very comfortable and actually didn't want to leave at all. The house offers everything you need for a vacation, enough space inside and outside, and the equipment leaves nothing to be desired. We felt particularly comfortable in the spacious kitchen-living room, where we spent many beautiful hours. The surroundings also invite for short and long walks and bike rides. We will definitely come back if the house is not fully booked from now on. A real gem!

Great holiday home for relaxation
We had a very relaxing week and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. In the garden, you could watch deer and many other animals, and indoors, it was very cozy even when it rained. Bike tours start right at the doorstep. A paradise for children to explore, play, and discover. A place to rest and unwind - highly recommended! The hosts are very accommodating and uncomplicated.
