Welcome to our newly acquired holiday apartment in Haus Marlene on the Duxeralm!
Our holiday apartment is located on the almost 1700 m high Duxeralm and is in the chalet "Haus Marlene". The chalet has a total of only 5 holiday apartments and is located directly at the forest and alpine pasture and is less than 100 m away from the nearest ski lift
Summer
Directly from the front door you can start panoramic hikes and mountain tours. If you bring your mountain bike with you, you will especially appreciate the start at 1700 m above sea level - there are even more possibilities to explore the high mountains and their beautiful valleys. The National Park "Hohe Tauern", which starts directly in Krimml (Duxeralm belongs to Krimml), offers many sights, even in rainy weather
Due to the high altitude there are almost no pollen, mites or ticks - especially allergy sufferers will particularly notice this pollen-free and clear mountain air and will be able to breathe again. In summer we especially appreciate the peace and quiet and the fresh mountain air!
Winter
The skiers will enjoy being able to ski right up to their front door and not having to walk 100 m to one of the side lifts in the morning to the "Zilltertalarena" ski area (135 km of slopes). Morning queues and stressful queues for the entrance to the ski area are unknown here!
But also the winter hikers, tobogganists and cross-country skiers get their money's worth here. All these activities can be practiced on the Duxeralm itself, right on your doorstep. The car does not need to be moved in the winter conditions
Touring skiers have a wide range of touring possibilities in the immediate vicinity
In winter the most beautiful thing for us is to experience a winter landscape covered in deep snow!
Apartment
We bought our holiday apartment at the beginning of 2020 and are now looking forward to spending wonderful winter and summer holidays in this beautiful mountain world on the border between Zillertal and the "Hohen Tauern". Therefore we have furnished the apartment in a way that we also feel really comfortable. Of course we hope that you will feel the same way.
Our holiday apartment itself is 65 square meters large, has two bedrooms with 2 beds each, a large living room with wood-burning stove and a cosy dining area. The separate kitchen has a dishwasher, oven and stove and is equipped with sufficient dishes, pots and cutlery. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower, toilet and sink. Especially in summer you will enjoy the south-facing and roofed terrace. Families with small children will appreciate to see the children romping and playing in the garden
For the skiers there are ski rooms for skis and ski boots, even a workbench can be used to prepare and wax skis. Those who are still not tired from mountain sports can use the table tennis room in the basement

Location and surroundings of object
The Duxeralm is situated just under 2km from the Gerlospass and belongs to the municipalities of Hochkrimml/Krimml. This means that the apartment can be reached easily via public and well-maintained roads. The national park "Hohe Tauern" and the skiing area "Zillertalarena" border directly on each other in Hochkrimml.

Great accommodation
We can highly recommend the holiday apartment of the Wiemer family. A lovely holiday apartment with a bedroom for the parents, a bedroom for the children, a bathroom with a bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment. Nothing was missing. Toaster, coffee machine, kettle, and even a microwave were available. The living room was cozy with a separate corner bench and fireplace for cold days. On the terrace, there were seating furniture and a parking space directly in front of the door. An additional plus point is the table tennis table in the basement. Everything was clean and tidy. The landlords are incredibly nice and respond immediately to questions. Everything is really highly recommended.

Everything perfect
We were completely satisfied.
The apartment was perfect for us (a family with two children) for our skiing holiday.

Winter Sports 2025
Beautiful cottage with all amenities in a nice location close to the slope.
The cottage is equipped with all comforts and spacious enough for 4 people.
Lovely on the ground floor with a garden set in the backyard and a parking space in front of the door.
Everything is present and tidy.
Would recommend it right away, great price/quality.

Optimal Vacation Apartment
Very nice, well-equipped vacation apartment. Sufficient space for 4 people. Kitchen very well equipped, right down to the blender and cheese grater. Chairlift can be reached on foot in just over 5 minutes. Sufficient SPAR market at the lift station. We didn't even use the car for shopping. Important: good mattresses with flexible slatted frames. I've also tried "solid wood slatted frames," which my back did not like at all. Price-performance ratio completely okay.
