Our spacious detached fisherman's house is located in the small Zeegalm holiday park and offers you enough space for up to 6 people on two levels. The cosy living room is equipped with a seating area and a satellite system. The rustic wooden beams on the ground floor ceilings and the white rough plaster on the walls emphasise the cosy atmosphere of the holiday home. Next to the spacious dining area is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge; freezer, electric cooker, oven, extractor bonnet and dishwasher. In the 3 bedrooms - two of which are on the upper level - pillow-top beds and duvets are provided. In addition to the bathroom with bathtub, there is also a guest toilet. The garden invites you to sunbathe or relax. It is completely fenced in and therefore "child safe". The terrace faces southwest and is equipped with a table and chairs. Your car can be parked in the nearby car park. We would like to point out that this is a non-smoking residence.

The holiday park "Zeegalm" is situated in one of the most beautiful spots in Belgium, very centrally located between Middelkerke and about 200 m wide dune strip, which is designated as a nature reserve, separates the holiday park from the park are a tennis court, a volleyball court and a football field for the sporty active holidaymakers. For the "little active holidaymakers" there is a large cafeteria with bakery in the immediate vicinity of the reception. The regionThe seaside resort of Middelkerke has 8 km of coastline with a wide, well-maintained, fine-grained sandy beach that offers plenty of space for sunbathers or for sports and games. A walk along the coast is also relaxing. The 6 km long promenade is lined with shops, restaurants and cafés. The entire region is influenced by the Gulf Stream. Winters are consistently mild and not as severe as inland. A hot summer is more bearable because of the proximity to the sea. The right relaxing climate also prevails in spring and autumn. You can experience this after just a short weekend stay in the healthy, iodine-containing sea air. Convivial events and great children's festivals provide plenty of variety. Sporty holiday guests will also find many opportunities for activity: sailing, surfing, playing tennis, horse riding or fishing - everything is possible. More than 10 different cycling and walking routes are signposted and in Middelkerke there are 2 indoor swimming pools and 1 outdoor swimming pool at your disposal for your culinary delights well-known Belgian cuisine naturally offers a variety of fish dishes. You will always find "your" little restaurant that exudes a special atmosphere. Why don't you also have a look in the vast rural hinterland old Hanseatic city of Bruges (about 15 minutes away by car) is famous for its medieval buildings, the most beautiful town hall in Flanders and for the Brussels lace.

| Normally we rent by the week with the day of arrival and departure being Saturday. - This means that the weekly prices are the most favourable for you! - The final cleaning has to be done by yourself! This reduces the costs. - Please leave the house as you would like to find it! - The deposit is 150 € per week. Electricity and water are charged according to consumption. - The costs are: 0,40 € per kW/h night electricity and 0,60 € per kW/h day electricity as well as 8,00 € per m³ water - After the keys have been returned, the electricity and water consumption will be charged against the deposit and the remaining amount will be transferred back to you. |
Cancellation terms:
If you cancel the contract more than 45 days before the start of the booked rental period, then 10% of the rental price, but at least EUR 25, as cancellation fees are to be covered. 25% of the rental price is due if cancellation occurs between 30 and 44 days, and 75% of the rental price if cancellation happens less than 30 days before the start of the rental period. The full rental price is to be paid if cancellation occurs after the date of arrival or in the event of an early return.

- You can shop very well at Aldi/Lidl/Colruyt next to the airport (see directions).
- Fresh fish is very inexpensive in Nieuwpoort (coastal road in the direction of
France, at the beginning of Nieuwpoort after the sharp 90 degree bend to the right, after
200m on the left hand side there are 5-6 fish shops).
- You can also go shopping on Sundays in the supermarket in the pedestrian zone of
Westende at Del Heise.
- Otherwise walk along the beach in the direction of Oostende (approx. 10 km; or until
your strength is exhausted) and then take the tram (tram) back along the coast
(get off at the water tower station Krokodil => is one price zone cheaper).
- Or drive along the coast to France and visit the tunnel to England in Calais
with the adjacent, architecturally particularly attractive shopping centre
Finally, go shopping in Calais town. Then go home and enjoy the cheese you just bought with a glass of red wine and an original French baguette.
