Description
Our holiday home is located in Donego, a district of Cannero Riviera. Donego is like on a terrace above the lake. A place with a breathtaking lake view (far to the northeast to the south). If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. Because there are no cars in Donego. The streets are rather paths. Cars park just outside the village, in a large, safe and free parking lot. Footpaths, from which the lake can always be seen, also cross the village, connecting it to Cannero Riviera, a seaside resort on the lake with an inviting beach, good restaurants and a shopping infrastructure. All in all, an ideal place for the stress-ridden and those seeking relaxation, something special for hikers and whatever else you can think of. Our house can be reached via the main path of the village. It is about 200 meters of level footpath.
The about 300 years old house was restored in the last years. The floors, the old wooden beam ceilings, the two fireplaces convey an impressive charm. The house is divided as follows
on the ground floor there is the kitchen-living room with washing machine and dishwasher and access to the terrace. From here you have an impressive panoramic view of the lake and also of the mountain panorama in the northeast
On the first floor the living room with fireplace and sofa set,
in the second bathroom, separate toilet and the two bedrooms for a total of four people. All rooms are facing the lake. There is also a balcony in front of the bedrooms.

Location and surroundings of object
Donego is a medieval village where time seems to stand still. A film set, that's how some of our tenants describe it. No cars drive here. Footpaths criss-cross the village, which lies above Cannero Riviera. A hamlet in absolute tranquility, from which you can enjoy the unique panorama of Lake Maggiore. From the terrace you can see to the left, to the north-east, the snow-capped mountains, opposite the lake the small town of Luino, to the south-east the foothills of the small town of Verbania.

- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.
