We invite you in our holiday region between Rennsteig and Big Island Mountain (916m) house was built 2000. In the lower area of the house is the living room with fireplace, TV and telephone, fully equipped kitchen (sink, stove, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and all necessary utensils) and a bathroom with shower, tub and toilet. This area is equipped with underfloor heating. Via an internal staircase leads upstairs 2 bedrooms (furnished with 5 beds and recliner, a bed for small children will be sent on request) and access to the balcony. The house is located on the outskirts of the resort Friedrichroda and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the Thuringian Forest. You can walk within 5 - 10 minutes to reach the center of the village. Close by is the spa, the Kneipp tread-basin and the mountain theater Friedrichroda. The state-approved resort is Friedrichroda climate in the North-west of the Thuringian Forest, 430-710 m above sea level and has 5700 inhabitants. The extensive network of hiking trails and nature trail in the "Cool Valley" make the place a real paradise for hikers. The southern boundary is the Rennsteig, Germany's largest hiking trail. Nearby are famous attractions such as Eisenach with the Wartburg, the Goethe and Schiller, Weimar, Erfurt and its monuments and the winter sports paradise Oberhof.
