You live directly on the Mont Ventoux nature reserve, which is closed to cars, in an absolutely quiet location on the edge of the Les Fébriers group of houses at an altitude of 450 metres. To the south you have a fantastic panoramic view over mountain and valley. Behind the 5000 sqm natural plot, you can hike on signposted routes to the summit 8 km away.
The popular weekly market in Bédoin every Monday morning is a colourful, cosmopolitan hustle and bustle with beautiful stalls where you can buy regional specialities, handicrafts, clothing and much more. There is also a large holiday campsite in the village where you can also go swimming with a day ticket. The area around Mont Ventoux is ideal for hiking and cycling. Racing cyclists will not miss the opportunity to tame the 1909 m high peak on the tracks of the "Tour de France". Something very special is the sunrise from the very top, where Provence is virtually at your feet.

Nice house in a beautiful location with a beautiful view. Good value for money.
The owner could have communicated better about final cleaning. We cleaned the house very thoroughly, but still had to pay for cleaning. That was suddenly 'obligatory'. However, we were asked in advance via e-mail if we wanted to clean it ourselves.

We were kindly received by the owner. There is a lot in the house and we have a very nice view. It's just a very nice and beautiful house. But still a few minus points. There is no WiFi in the house. That has been announced but at the same time unimaginable, not of this time. Hunts us for extra costs. The whole interior of the house is very dated. Paint is peeling off in the bathroom and a door under the bath is half hanging off. You cannot fix the shower to the wall. Light switch near the kitchen almost falls out. Some drawers in the kitchen are crooked and peeling paint. Way too many different and cheap cutlery. An old-fashioned TV. It was announced that only German-language channels would be received with the satellite. There are indeed many German channels, including sex and programs for gay men. The owner apparently never did any research. On channel 0001 and beyond you will find the public French channels. You can only make coffee as filter coffee. A pack of coffee on arrival, that's for sure. The ceiling fan in the lounge does not work. The one in the bedroom. To find the right position you have to build a tower of chairs to reach the pull strings of the fan. Never do it alone! There is no kitchen towel in the kitchen. We bought a tea towel ourselves. As well as washing up liquid and wipes to keep the kitchen clean. We are unlucky with the weather: 40 degrees. Cooling is nice, but it is not there. Announced that the electricity must be paid separately. The owner did not show us the meter on which you can keep track of what you consume. Discovered that the meter is in the large garden. Photos of the stands were taken. Curious how this will turn out. Cooking on gas is fine! Microwave and electric oven are very dated but work fine. Bedding very dated but in order.

Simple house in a beautiful place. View, lots of space around the house and walking routes past the door. Bedoin is a nice and lively village.
