The hut is located on a large natural plot of land about 300 meters from Lake Traboch.
The cozy towns of Traboch, St. Peter-Freienstein and Trofaiach are located in the "Erzberg Leoben" region in the middle of the state of Styria and are an ideal holiday destination for those seeking relaxation and families. The mountain world of the Eisenerz Alps with the largest iron ore open-cast mine in Central Europe also offers impressive insights into the mining history and a wealth of possibilities in the midst of magnificent natural scenery. The "Wilde Berg Mautern - Wildlife Park" is nearby and the "Gesäuse - Wild Water and Steep Rock" National Park is easily accessible by car via the Präbichl and is a great starting point for wonderful mountain tours and hikes.
The Formula 1 RB-Österreich-Ring in Spielberg/Zeltweg is only 30 km from Lake Traboch.

The ASIA Spa in the district and mining town of Loeben offers wellness, water fun and relaxation for the whole family. Also nearby are the "Leopolsteiner See" in Eisenerz, as well as the "Grüner See" in Tragöss at the foot of the Hochschwab, which was voted the "most beautiful hidden place in Austria" in 2014.

We had a very nice vacation as a group of four in this holiday cabin! The surroundings are highly recommended if you are traveling with children. It is quiet, no holiday resort, but a large playground around the corner, mountains for hiking, child-friendly restaurants by the beautiful Trabocher See, great excursion destinations nearby, all the shops you need in Leoben. We were truly thrilled by the green nature, the mountains, the tranquility, and the beautiful Styria.

We had a wonderful vacation in this small holiday home in Traboch, Austria. The house is not large, but it is very cozy and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. From there, many destinations can be reached quickly, and the region offers numerous opportunities for activities and relaxation. The location is ideal for exploring the area while enjoying the peace. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Those looking for a cozy holiday home in a beautiful setting are exactly right here. A clear recommendation!

A great place for a family vacation! The cottage was well-maintained and had a cozy atmosphere. The time spent in the wildlife park and by the beautiful lakes nearby was successful. Perfect for family bonding!

The cottage is not large and certainly not suitable if you have difficulty walking. It does not have a view of the lake but is close to it. For us it was fine. We were well received and complaints were dealt with as quickly as possible. The bathroom is quite small and you can take a shower in about 5 minutes. After that the hot water runs out and it takes about 10 minutes for it to warm up again. So in summary it is a great house to explore the area from there, but do not expect lavish luxury.
