Very picturesque home in the former stable of the castle, also very charmingly furnished. Beautiful with clay walls and wooden beams. However, the home was very dark, the beds were too short, the shower was minimal, and outside was a table that was not comfortable to sit at. However, there were 3 nice lounge chairs. The hostess was particularly kind, as was the host, and the surroundings were fantastic. A castle garden with a pond, an old castle with original outbuildings.

First, I want to say that the owners are super friendly people, there is really nothing to criticize. The cottage, on the other hand, was really disappointing for us. It was very dark inside, there are almost no windows. We could hardly see anything from the inside. There was also very little eating utensils, for example, there were only 4 cups while it is rented out for 6 people. Moreover, there was very little comfort present: very bad beds, the bathroom was also not comfortable, and there was no pleasant chair to sit in comfortably. Outside, there was a picnic table that was not pleasant to sit at at all. The lounge chairs outside were good, though. In short, with some adjustments, this could perhaps become a pleasant stay. PS: we really do not understand the earlier positive comments...

Belle maison in a superb quarter. L'hôtesse is very sympathetic. Bon. Beau. Entretenu avec amour, belle cheminée, animaux sympas comme l'âne Dagobert :)) Nous sometimes ici en hiver... ça doit être fantastic ici in printemps...

We spent a wonderful vacation there. The accommodation is beautifully designed and furnished with a lot of charm. The landlords are very nice, and you feel warmly welcomed. The surroundings with the many great beaches are fantastic.

It is a beautiful part of the castle to be restored. The hosts Laetitia and Valentin are very hospitable without being in your way for a moment. We have booked for a month, have only been here for a few days, and look forward to a wonderful time.

The hostess is very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is part of a barn or stable of a castle that has been expertly converted into a small holiday home. The whole place has a cozy appearance. The small kitchen and bathroom do look a bit messy. The spacious terrace provides enough privacy and is fully fenced (a blessing for the dog).

Lovely place, spacious house, a bit dark. Lots of space and reasonable privacy outside. A little more outdoor chairs would be useful, but we spent a wonderful two weeks. The castle and grounds are otherwise amazing.

We had a great stay of 2 weeks in this holiday home / gite. The authentic atmosphere is an experience every day and yet you have the comfort of modern kitchen appliances and the like, although we have not used the 2 TVs, they are there ... The morning view through the patio door on the pond side is magnificent with a view on the 2 permanent residents being a bunch of swans and the castle in restoration mode. You can walk completely around the castle and the lake via a path, which gives magnificent photo opportunities. The terrace with sun loungers and picnic tables (small one for toddlers) is very comfortable especially because of the large parasol .... The landlords are very nice and leave you in peace, but are there if you have any questions. free-range pig Simon who is very happy with it, he tastes very good but okay it is also a pig and not the lord of the castle. All in all, this holiday home is highly recommended and Cotentin / Normandy is also a beautiful area to discover full of historical and scenic experiences and a multi-day visit to the landing beaches is of course a very impressive experience and an experience that you will always remember. We have not used the upper floor but it is really large with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and a beautiful beamwork appearance just like downstairs. We will certainly return here in a few years, if only to see the progress of the restorations.

Gite was as described and with a very friendly owner. Cozy decor, we only used the ground floor because we were 2 people and had enough space there, large bedroom. Nice to walk around the grounds and see that the castle and other buildings are being renovated. Still a lot of work to do. We had a great time there.
