We had a wonderful time at this holiday home! The location is serene, and the access to the two bathing lakes was fantastic, The nearby rhododendron park was a beautiful bonus!

An excellent place for families! We had plenty of space for our children to play, and the nearby swimming lakes were a hit. The hosts were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at the holiday home in Wiefelstede-Lehe! The house was cozy and well-equipped, with a charming rustic flair. The two swimming lakes nearby were perfect for our morning swims and afternoon relaxation. The children loved the swings in the garden. The location is quiet, surrounded by nature, yet close enough to Oldenburg for some shopping and sightseeing. Highly recommended for families!

The wooden house is very clairaudient, the double bed urgently needs to be revised, it creaks with every touch and a restful sleep is not given, there must also be a warning about brakes, we were not able to swim or go for a walk at the lake on any day,

We were there in the fall. Cozy and spacious house with a cozy environment, no high-gloss, but everything in good condition and reasonably clean. Very noisy, but not particularly bright (neither through daylight nor through lamps). Well suited for a family that just wants to be somewhere different. Very beautiful lakes right next door.
There are a few hedgehogs living in the area, which is the perfect habitat for them (we think that's good!). However, there are a lot of fleas living around the house (and maybe in it too?). Despite good flea protection/prevention, our dog always had a few in his fur, and we sometimes got bites ourselves. (Luckily, the dog acts as a flea magnet and quickly killed the fleas with the prevention.) If you are traveling with a dog, you should definitely take care of flea protection beforehand or check it (better with a tablet rather than just spot-on or collar).
We liked it there very much and had a nice time in peace, far away from the stress of the city.

Nice house, nice uncomplicated landlady. Unfortunately, it is very dark in the house due to the beautiful tall trees in the garden. A mosquito net at the terrace door of the bedroom would be necessary. The kitchen is well equipped with accessories, and nothing was missing.

This holiday home was everything we needed for a peaceful retreat. It was spacious and clean, with a lovely terrace where we enjoyed our meals. The nearby rhododendron park was a wonderful surprise, and we took advantage of the hiking trails in the area. The hosts were friendly and helpful. A solid choice for a nature vacation!

Everything was clean, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable! The house is surrounded by tall trees and is otherwise dark inside, so we had to turn on all the lights to have it somewhat bright. The garden is open on all sides, which might be interesting for guests with a dog. A deer suddenly appeared in the garden. So we couldn't let our dog roam freely in the garden. It's great that to go swimming, you just have to cross the street and you are mostly alone. Aside from the mosquitoes, which were almost always present during our vacation. Especially in the evenings and mornings! Without protection, it's almost impossible to walk around the lakes or to "exercise" the dog. Perhaps it's also important to note that the mobile reception is rather poor. However, making phone calls was not a problem. There is no Wi-Fi anyway. The bedrooms are on the upper floor. The stairs could be a problem for small children or older people because they are steep and smooth. For cyclists, the area is ideal! We were out with a dog and could not find/make any nice hikes in the immediate vicinity.

The stairs to the upper floor are very steep. There is a lack of a gate or similar for securing small children. Deep plates are missing... But that's complaining at a high level. A waste calendar would be sensible and helpful. A waste bin would be nice.
