During the day you will find a small natural swimming pond, many rustic corners, a grill, outdoor fireplace and a sauna hut in the beautifully landscaped communal garden. There is direct access to the Thuringian Forest, which is completely hidden. On foot you can quickly reach the climatic health resort of Friedrichroda and, after a short walk, even Reinhardsbrunn Castle. For a drive by car, the Hainich National Park with its wild cat village or the Wartburg and Eisenach are certainly attractive.

Here the Thuringian Forest begins with the Rennsteig, from where you can go on extensive hiking, cycling and skiing tours. The castle park of Reinhardsbrunn Castle starts near the spa park. This park is known for its old trees. You can also stimulate your circulation in the Kneipp basins along the hiking trails
