"The idyllic mountain village of Oberschönau (565 - 900 m) is located quite secluded with a view of the Thuringian forests in the ""WM Ferienregion"" Oberhof. The holiday home with outdoor pool (unheated) is located on a garden/natural plot, only 3 km from the famous Rennsteig (650 m above sea level). Beautiful hiking trails can be explored directly from the house in the middle of the Thuringian Forest.
Activities nearby: Numerous sports and recreational opportunities in the vicinity. The Rennsteig is well signposted and offers walking pleasure for the whole family. The 168 km long ""Rennsteig"" stretches from Eisenach in the west to Blankenstein in the east through deciduous and coniferous forests, through gorges, past springs and ponds - sometimes as a narrow forest path, sometimes as a woodcutter's path, sometimes as a cart. mobility:

Our stay here was a wonderful experience. It was the perfect place to completely relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty of options for entertainment. I'm already looking forward to returning!
