We were very much looking forward to the stay, we arrived with 4 adults and 4 children aged 1-11 years. We went to the reception, were greeted kindly, and then it began. The staff was very stressed, according to the employees, understaffed as it seems very often. This was also told to pretty much every guest first. There we learned that we cannot park at the house, really not funny with so much luggage, one could not read this anywhere beforehand, then we requested to leave the night before, also not so easy due to the lack of staff. Upon arriving at the house, there were piles of bed linen (you have to make the beds yourself - most of the bed linen had many holes, broken seams) I would have liked to know this beforehand, then I could have brought my own. Thought we could save time this way, since we only had 3 days. The kitchen itself had no light (we then stood with phone light to get the stove going), the lights by the bed also didn't work partially, the extractor hood also didn't work (bad in a small, open living/sleeping area) cobwebs on the ceiling, under the beds, patio furniture stacked in the house. Indoor play hall very nice for the children but also there a big mess at times due to lack of staff, restaurant. . what should I say, here the staff shortage was most evident, if you even got a table without a reservation then you had to wait forever, once we almost left again because waiting half an hour without anyone even taking the drink order is not funny with 4 small children. Too few tables for such a large park, only a few tables that are not already reserved. Prices like in a good restaurant but the service is terrible, the staff totally overwhelmed, no structure, I have never experienced anything like this. In the play area, there are machines for children where you have to pay 2€, but no one in the house could change money. We already tried to get a bowling appointment from home, but no one answered the phone. After a phone call with the reception, we were given another number with the statement: No one answers at the other number anyway. But even with the number, no chance. When we were on site, we got the answer: Everything gone, tough luck! For longer stays, I also find it impractical that the trash bins are about 250m away from the house. All in all, we tried to make the best of it. I would not visit the park again and would not recommend it either! The price-performance ratio is completely off here.

The holiday park is beautifully situated and very quiet, We appreciated the private terrace for morning coffee, The kitchen was well equipped and felt like a home away from home, Wernigerode Castle was just a short train ride away, which was a nice bonus.

This place is a whole vibe, super spacious and cozy - perfect for family hangouts or relaxed nights with friends. The kitchen has everything for a little cooking session. Also, the view of the Harz Mountains? Totally aesthetic goals.

Our experience in the holiday park was quite pleasant, The house itself was clean and practical, with enough space for our group, The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, which made cooking enjoyable, We appreciated the quiet surroundings, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking, The nearby attractions like the Harz narrow-gauge railway added a nice touch to our stay, Overall, it was a good place for a relaxing vacation

The houses have aged and urgently need renovation. Regardless of the broken tiles in the bathroom, the doors and walls that are chipped, the old furnishings... In the kitchen, there is only the absolute minimum equipment, some of it broken. The stove is not a ceramic hob, but the old plates like before. And not even an oven. Unfortunately, the house was also not clean when we arrived. Many cobwebs, mold in the bathroom... But what I find the worst is that the houses and the area are completely overgrown. You can hardly look out of the windows anymore, everything is overgrown. A complaint only led to a move two houses over. In the end, it's the same. You shouldn't be deceived by the pictures used for advertising, because it definitely doesn't look like that there!

The Hasseröder Holiday Park offers a wide range of amenities - especially for families with children (bar, bowling, Brockenbad, indoor playground, restaurants). However, there is a lack of parking spaces directly at the house, the terraces are close to the neighbors' bedrooms and were partly unusable/overgrown. The kitchen is also only very sparsely equipped. There is potential for improvement here. However, the bathrooms/beds were in good condition and very comfortable. The house had a good size for 8 people. The surroundings themselves are very idyllic and quiet.

We were traveling as a family (5 adults, 2 small children, and 1 dog). The accommodation was okay, the rooms were sufficient, but it was also very warm in the house. We had a problem with ants, which slightly spoiled the stay. A vacuum cleaner in the house and some equipment for daily needs, e.g., dish soap and hand soap, would have been nice. The staff were all - without exception - super friendly and accommodating; some of the guests could learn a thing or two from them... We made good use of the bathroom and the sauna and found it very good to have that option nearby. It is very well located to start activities from there. We liked it a lot.

I was more than satisfied with the holiday home. I just found it a bit of a shame that I didn't have this house at the reception and thus didn't have the beautiful view of the Brocken. The surroundings of our house were also very nice with the ponds. We will definitely come back again.

The lower area of the house was very small, kitchen with old stove plates, light on the extractor hood did not work, not clean.
