Stylish and modernly furnished semi-detached house with Wi-Fi on a gated property with a beautiful view of the well-maintained and lovingly landscaped garden in an idyllic residential area near Berlin. Enjoy the sun on the magnificent south-facing terrace and end the day with a delicious barbecue. You'll also find a comfortable shady spot under one of the trees. Furthermore, the landlord provides two bicycles free of charge for exploring the beautiful countryside. Schönwalde-Glien is located in the Havelland district near Berlin-Spandau and is a wonderful starting point for nature lovers and cycling enthusiasts. Children will especially enjoy the Paaren Adventure Park: a farm, water play area, and animal park will provide plenty of fun.

Activities nearby: Cycling enthusiasts can explore several cycling routes starting from Schönwalde-Glien. If you don't want to go all the way to Berlin for shopping, you can visit the huge Outlet Center Berlin in Wustermark. Here you'll find a wide selection of designer brands at reduced prices. Those who prefer peace and quiet amidst nature should definitely make a detour to the Düberitz Heath nature reserve. In 2004, the Heinz Sielmann Foundation acquired approximately 3,500 hectares, which has since expanded through further purchases. Around 5,000 animal and plant species, most of which were displaced, such as white-tailed eagles and otters, make their home here. From a high-altitude trail near Elstal, you can easily observe three large wild animal species: European bison, Przewalski's horse, and red deer. The Germendorf Animal and Leisure Park offers fun and excitement: adventure playgrounds, mini-bikes, bumper cars, a fairytale train, and an indoor playhouse are sure to bring smiles to many a child's face.

We were greeted by a very nicely furnished holiday apartment with a wonderfully designed garden and a private terrace to unwind at the end of the day. The Schönwalde settlement is very quiet and yet a good starting point for bike tours and excursions, for example, to Berlin, Potsdam. Werder is also worth a trip or a bike ride along the canal and Schönwalde lock. Very friendly hosts. We would love to come back.
