A slice of holiday paradise on the picturesque Grellbucht bay of Lake Glindow: The high-quality terraced houses, each with a wheelchair-accessible ground floor, are situated directly on the water. A small marina adds to the idyllic holiday atmosphere, and the nearby beer garden offers a variety of draft beers as well as regional cuisine with seasonal dishes. The small town of Werder, nestled picturesquely among the many lakes and forests of the Havelland region, offers nature as far as the eye can see and a magnificent landscape for relaxation. Yet, it's only a 10-minute train ride to Potsdam, and a 35-minute journey will have you in the heart of Berlin, ready to immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle. Werder is surrounded by numerous lakes: Lake Schwielowsee, Lake Glindowsee, Lake Großer Plessower See, and Lake Zernsee, as well as a section of the Havel River, border the town. Water sports of all kinds are therefore very popular. Boat charters and rowboat rentals, including canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, motorboats (no license required), and sailboats, ensure you won't be left high and dry. Opportunities for surfing, waterskiing, catamaran sailing, and paragliding are also available.
